Good morning,
My girlfriend completed her undergraduate degree more than 3 years ago so is ineligible for a graduate account. She is now intending on starting a masters course in September. Please can you advise which student account (if any) is most suitable.
Her masters course will last 1 year so she is not able to get many of the student accounts.
Thanks

What are the reasons for wanting a student account?0

Does she have any accounts currently, if so what is wrong with them? Has she asked her current bank if they can suggest a better account for her circumstances? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

It might be best to research which banks allow student accounts for one year courses and then list them before asking which is most suitable.
All major banks offer student accounts, and you can review which of those suits best by going to one of the many student review sites (eg http://www.savethestudent.org/money/student-banking/student-bank-accounts.html)
But until you know which ones will accept a one-year student you can't really expect a considered answer to which is best. The answer also depends, of course, on exactly which facilities she needs.0 -
Many student account providers will accept a 1 year master's degree as long as it's full time - NatWest, Barclays etcThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
