The change of term and conditions regarding the government agreement in 2014 to allow customers to have a fee fee basic account.

    Sorry, what are they announcing first? A fee free basic account? Co-op also offers a basic account that is free. Or are you talking about the ability to withdraw up to £500 from an ATM?

    I'm talking about removing of charges on basic account if you have a failed payment e.g direct debit and yes the increased withdrawal limit

    Ninth Anniversary
    Halifax are doing the same now, got a letter about my cashcard account. Up to £500 atm withdrawals and they'll only charge once after a third failed attempt at payment.
