Halifax Cashback
I signed up to Halifax Cashback a couple of weeks ago and have started using my debit card to purchase items but as yet have not received any "cashback Offers". I know there were a number of people that didn't get any offers when they signed up so has anyone had any offers added that initially didn't get any?

Mone transferred to wrong bank acount
I transferred £1000 to what i thought was my sons bank account. It is an active account. I have drafted a letter to the bank concerned. am I really reliant on the cooperation of the account holder? Or will I be able to go to the police if they will not give me the money back? Very worried.

First Direct - sub accounts
Hi all, I feel desperate so wanted to share my frustrations. I've been with First Direct for many years (15-20 I imagine), and consider myself to be a hugely loyal advocate of everything about them, everyone I speak to and everything I read suggests that their customer service is second to none. I also have all my banking,…

Opening a bank account without ID
I know someone in quite an awkward situation. She can't get a bank account without a driving licence, passport or gun licence. Yet she can't get any of these because she needs a bank to pay for them. She can't even realistically get a job because of her lack of bank account. She's been trying for a few years to get an…

Buy euros now or after Thursday?
Going on holiday next week :) . Bearing the US's current nonsense in mind, any thoughts as to whether it would be better to buy euros before or after Thursday's vote? Thanks.

I am on an interest only mortgage (works for me), and am 'only' behind on my capital repayments by £3k at the moment. 20yrs to go. I also owe maybe £5k on a car loan which has 3yrs left to go.…

LLoyds & my personal info
Got a call at 9pm from a company called Network Research wanting to discuss (with myself or husband, using our surname) a recent visit we made to Lloyds Bank. Apparently "just customer service satisfaction questions", feedback for Lloyds. I said my feedback would be limited to objecting to Lloyds passing my name, telephone…

Another Santander 123 question
Can somebody confirm whether it is necessary to actually use a Direct Debit on a 123 account in order to qualify for interest? The terms say Set up a minimum of two Direct Debits. For cashback household bills must be paid by Direct Debit to organisations within eligible categories which suggests that as long as two DD's…

Lloyds Premier Account vs Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account
Hi All, I'm currently with Lloyds and have a premier account with them which is knocking me back £25 a month. I use most of the benefits, but looking at the Halifax account it seems to offer the same apart from a £300 O/D instead of the £500 interest free O/D I currently have with Lloyds of which I don't use, as I have my…

Change of account signatory
Hello, I own a flat and I received a proposal from our Management Company to become a signatory director. This would allow me to sign off any expenses from the bank account which is used for my neighbourhood. I was given some “change of account signatory” forms from Santander to fill in, however I am concerned that by…

Hello first time posting hoping someone can help. I have previously had quite a bad credit history but it is now improving. All previous bad debt has now been paid off or dropped off credit for (over 6 years). Due to previous problems I could only get a basic bac bank account with Santander and no debit card. I've just…

Bank charges no OVERDRAFT
Wondered if anyone has any advise. I've been with Santander for 5 years. Never had an overdraft and over the last year things have been a bit tight, therefore bills have still been coming out of my account when not enough funds have been there, meaning I go overdrawn on an account with no overdraft. I could do with £100…
