Can anyone recommend a free app to record spending and help with budget monitoring?

I heard that Pocket Money was good, but its £3.10 in the app store :(

  • I use EasyMoney, which has a free trial. You do have to pay for the full version but personally I've found it worth it. I've tried a few and I found that one the best by far.

AceMoney Lite is OK if your needs are simple, it limits you to 2 accounts but there is a paid for version with unlimited accounts. It's for Windows and you mention an App, not sure if you are after a mobile solution

    I'm running Money 2004 on win 7 64 bit
  • PocketMoney is the best, and it does have a lite version which is free, but it limits some of the functionality. iMHO, its well worth the cost. I used to use MS money, but its so much easier on an Ipad.

I'm running MS Money 99 on Windows 7.

....that's great news...I (FOOLISHLY) believed what MS told me -that my copy of MSMoney 99 wasn't compatible with a Windows 7 set up -as I've been using it for ~ 18 years for current acc. reconciliations I was resigned to keeping my old Vista PC going somehow !:T:j

Anyone got an old version of Money running on a Windows 8 PC??:)
