Transferring money to other banks
What are the ways of transferring money from one account to another account with a different bank besides carrying cash, cheques, using the telephone, internet or paying for the CHAPS service? This is not for regular payments, but just some occasional or one-off transfers.
How long for cash and cheque time to clear?
