looking to put minimum of £5000 in a high street guaranteed saver /current account at best rate available. what would you suggest .the mrs has seen halifax guaranteed saver at 5.57 aer. is this competitive? your views would be appreciated.

IMHO 5.57% is not competitive for any sort of savings account- bond or otherwise.God save the King!
