Confused about BT Yahoo Mail email
Before I start, I openly admit I'm not particularly computer literate so please be gentle with me! I received an email stating that "The classic version of BT Yahoo Mail will be replaced by our new version on 21 September 2013. So its time to upgrade before you lose your email access" The email is from "BTMail update…

Talktalk price rises - can move without penalty, but where?
Ok so Talktalk are a bit rubbish. I think this is probably down to their 'homesafe' service that you can disable, but still sends your traffic off on a chinese merry-go-round resulting in awful page load times and media streaming even when speedtest results look good. They've bumped prices and I can leave for free and get…

Short term broadband/3G deal?
Hi there Just signed up to Sky broadband but they need a BT Open Reach engineer to fix some wiring and aren't able to come out to fix it until 14th October, which is to say the least, very inconvenient. They were meant to fit it on the 13th September. My contract with my current provider expires on the 21st of September…

O2 Email
It seems that O2 are about to shut down O2 email accounts? I stumbled across this as I was reorganising my o2 down to 20meg by deleting some and moving some over to my O2 Mobile email account. I was aware that BB email was being reduced to 20meg but it seems like I am also going to lose my mobile email as well (was 200meg)…

This evening my internet access vanished. I have BT Infinity. I did the usual turning off the home reach box and modem, leaving them for a few minutes then turning back on. Nothing. I was led to believe it was the easiest option as everything would stay the same, incl my original email addys. Now I find out my aol emails have vanished and are no longer available. I am annoyed as I have lost lots of saved…

Happy with BT switchover
Just wanted to share my recent happy story of switching over to BT. Router arrived today and came through letterbox so no waiting in. Everything up and running with no problems. BT call you on landline and let you know its ready. Activation was before midnight latest so 7.30pm isn't too bad. Lovely connection and wi-fi…

PLUSNET - major issues
I moved from BT to Plusnet , in order to get a better deal and I wanted UK call centres. However, from day one I have not had a wireless service and I am still connected up to the test socket. I was told that if an engineer was sent out and the issue was with our wiring we would be charged £60. After 3 follow up phone…

I was not aware of actually asking for any changes althoughI did say that I no longer needed the static IP address I have on theaccount. The full conversation…

Looking for comments about Sky Broadband
I am currently with Virgin and am out of contract. We have Sky for our TV and as we have the sports package we can get Sky broadband free for 12 months. I know we will have to switch our home phone to them as well but that is ok as the line rental ect is on par with Virgin. I don't really know anyone with Sky broadband so…

Does anyone use unlimited 3G tethering instead of broadband?
I notice Three offer this, and it's very cheap. Has anyone gone this route instead of broadband? Do you think it'd be okay downloading absolutely shedloads of stuff?
