Short term broadband/3G deal?

Hi there
Just signed up to Sky broadband but they need a BT Open Reach engineer to fix some wiring and aren't able to come out to fix it until 14th October, which is to say the least, very inconvenient. They were meant to fit it on the 13th September.
My contract with my current provider expires on the 21st of September which means I am without internet access at home. Does anyone have any ideas for buying some internet access for about 1 month? I would consider tethering from my 3G iPhone but the 3G reception isn't great inside my house...
