Hello there, I'm hoping someone can help me because I'm scared to death at the moment. We had a letter today asking for proof of my daughter's income. She's on Universal Credit so that in itself isn't problem, but whilst looking for what was acceptable evidence, I stumbled across information that could mean we are £4000 in…

I claim tax credits, they claim universal credit. They recieved a cold weather payment, I didn't. This doesn't seem fair at all.. Is this to encourage me to claim…

ESA and selling a puppy.
Recently lost my 14 yr old dog to cancer. Also have a 2 yr old Pomeranian, prefer to have 2 dogs for the company they give to each other. Prices of Pomeranians in my area were around £3-4K. Way out of my budget. So I looked at using a stud service. It cost £150 in Jan. I knew that the usual litter size is 2-3, if I had 2…

Coronavirus bounce back loan & UC capital
It's so hard to find information about things on Google. I remember glancing through a UC capital disclosures and disregards list. IIRC correctly there was something about bounceback loans being disregarded. But I can't find it. I have applied for the BBL (which is a business loan), just before the deadline - I don't need…

Child tax credit extra 500
Hi everyone, hope all is good in these gloomy times.Just a quick question. As I am only receiving child tax credit at the moment does that mean I will not qualify for the one off payment of £500?The way it is worded makes me think I will not get it as both is needed. Seems pretty unfair if this is the case. Thanks.
