Hi guys Just to say that I really admire you all for the love and support that you offer each other. Please keep up the good work. You know those companies who buy you house from you and allow you to rent it back from them? Do they do a credit search? Do you have an automatic right to stay after it's been sold if you are a tenant in the property already?

Last minute jitters - please help!
Well, as the title says, I'm getting the fear and starting to wonder if I'm mental for going BR. I'm due in court on Tues. I've just worked out exactly what I owe and it's £15k, plus student loan of £6k (which I know won't be written off) so I'm only going BR for £15k... I'm fairly sure I'm doing the right thing, but it…

A little message
First of all I don't mean to be offensive, I only post my viewpoint and respond to individual threads on their merits. If people post negative comments directed against me as a person I ignor them. I don't agree with bankruptsy in most cases as there are ways around it even if it takes decades to clear the debt. I…

Rental Nightmare....
Well, we have not yet lost the house to the repo company. But - the useless letting agents are now asking for bank refs and credit checks. We have a healthy balance in there - whilst we wait to see the outcome, before we pay some massive bills, we also have the means in there to pay 3 months up front. I suppose its…
