I'm frightened about going to court
As it says, really. I am such a wussy girl, and the whole idea frightens me, I really wish there was another way but I know ther isn't. I won't even go in the job centre as I find that intimidating enough. I am afraid I will be lectured and shouted at for getting myself in such a mess. TBH, the temptation to try to run is…

Trigger figure allowances have changed
I realised today that the allowances have changed - some amounts have stayed the same, but many have gone down. The updated info is here, so please use these figures as guidelines when completing your SOA rather than others you may have previously saved from another link. :)

Well I told my landlord...
And he barely batted an eyelid! He even asked how much I owed and said he wanted to help me! (I wouldn't tell him though). He said he would reduce my rent or even let me live rent free while I got back on my feet (again, I told him my day to day living expenses were going to be allowed for) and he is going to come to court…

Does bankruptcy cancel CCJs?
Hello, Quick (theoretical) question: If someone has a CCJ, and they have been ordered to make regular payments, would they still be required to make those payments if they were subsequently declared bankrupt? Or would the CCJ be treated as any other debt and included in the bankruptcy? Many thanks.
