Might be a little early for some... I used to post this up early just to wind Pink up. She would ring me and "scold" me - Zippy, why are you setting up a Christmas thread in July :rotfl:

BUT!!!!!! I think it's a nice positive thing to have on the board. So if the Christmas early preppers want to post about Christmas, then they have a place to post.:j
If this is too early for you (which it will be for most), then that's not a problem... just ignore until the time comes and you're ready for some festive planning. !!!:rotfl:

My heart is broken this year as my very old sentimental black christmas tree has finally karked it and died. New tree required. BOOOO!!!

Happy christmas planning for those it interests. I have christmas decorations up all year round (a santa lava lamp and some other sneaky bits the husband doesn't comment on lol)

I'm excited!! This will be our first year in our new house and cooking dinner at home too so I'm really glad to see the thread pop up! I have started stashing presents already (just some bits of the kids when there is a good offer on) some gets used on birthdays and the rest gets saved for Xmas - I actually have 2 lego sets off last year we forgot to give and found when we were moving house in Jan!! Oops will just add them to the pile .... &#55356;&#57220;

I know what I'm having. I made a dinner last year .... so this year I know what I'll leave off ... and what I'll add

After this year I expect to then have it nailed .... and that's what I'll eat every year for the rest of time.

No point reinventing the wheel .... it's just a dinner

I make advent calendars for my two grown up daughters and their partners, and collect little items for them throughout the year. I had a sortout the other day, and am very pleased to realise I have everything for these already. I did get quite a lot in the post Christmas sales, so that really helped. It's also nice not to worry about lengthy delivery times when ordering from overseas at this time of year!

I'm two thirds done, with some of the presents wrapped. Have alot to buy for-family and friends. with my health if I had to do it all in December I would physically have a meltdown and financially too. I started in the Christmas sales, and I've saved a heck of alot of money already spotting things aswell when they are reduced/on offer that are ideal for a particular family member.
So not too early for me&#55357;&#56832;
