+1 for seeing the message about not making my minimum payment despite my current account DD being taken in full at the end of last month. Teething problems, I hope. I am not bothered enough to put through a call to India!

I have asked to close my EM account. On logging in I see that I no longer have any Egg accounts but that doesn't mean it's definietely closed as it may have migrated to Barclaycard.
I will only know when my positive balance is returnrd to my bank A/C.
Can anyone please tell me how long Egg took to transfer funds to another bank A/C.
    Thanks

The FAQs for Barclaycard World MC punters says:-

"If you're already a Barclaycard customer and registered for mybarclaycard your new Barclaycard will automatically appear in your account details on 7th November 2011"

Wrong! Well, unless it magically appears in the remaining seven hours.

In the letter that I received from BC, it says that they've "allocated (me) a preferred time to launch mybarclaycard", not that I couldn't access the account before then. I'm not going to try until the date set because if my account is not there I'll only get stressed about it!

Your account will be there, they just don't want everyone logging in on the same day and crashing the site. Our letter said 'launch on 9th' but I decided not to wait and did it today with not too much trouble.

I looked at my Egg a/c on Sunday but all transactions had disappeared except a 'balance' figure and a short comment stating transactions between 4-6 Nov may not show. Bit miffed as I'd wanted to print off outstanding transactions before the switch.

Anyway, Barclays a/c got the same "haven't paid minimum balance" notice that others are getting, but then my direct debit paying off the whole outstanding amount went 4th Nov (the 'may not show' timeframe) from our bank so not bothered that it still looks unpaid - it'll catch up.

Tried to look at recent transactions but keep getting booted out of the system. Not bothered if that lot disappears altogether.....I'd consider that "Happy Xmas me"! :)
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

I am already a BC holder and my account definately not showing as yet.

Had two emails from Egg Quidco today, saying that they are now Quidco (without the Egg) and so will retain the first £5 of any cashback and to register the barclaycard with them.

Although it still wasn't linking my existing BC account and my ex-Egg account automatically I have logged in separately and all was well.

Zero balance, so can't help anyone with any payment issues etc, save to confirm that the direct debit instructions were correct.

No balance transfer offer as yet (booo!).

Just gone in and checked everything: User friendly site 9/10 with nice graphics too (9/10). Cash back is running and a balance is showing. (10/10)

My old Egg Money card balance is OK but missing the most recent transactions for the weekend (9.5/10). Even the DD to pay off the card in full was already set up too. (11/10)

So, all OK except they had my OH's D of B as 1 January 1810. (0/10) So I rang up on 0800 917 7277 and their CS guy (in the Philippines, would you believe!) has just modernised her a tadge for me. (10/10)

Off now to give it a whirl at Tesco, where I will also change the PIN too.

Is anyone else finding they can't view recent purchases? When I click to do this is generates a system error and logs me off as a precaution.

I have used the card today.

    Dear all

I have transferred from Egg Money to Barclaycard World MasterCard - does anyone know whether £1 monthly Barclay's fee still applies?

    Cheers

    Jim
