does it. never know that. mind you my pans are never non stick for long.
  • I guess if you wanted to make sure you didn't ruin a saucepan it would be cheap to pick up one from a boot fair. :D

i've done this many times and never ruined a pan yet. can't see whats in it that'd damage a non stick pan.
  • I thought it was the tartar.

    Playdough(from Somerfield Mag)

    Prep.time. 10 mins

    1 cup plain flour

    half cup salt

    30ml(2tbsp) cream of tartar

    30ml(2tbsp) veg oil

    food colouring

1.Mix all the ing. in a saucepan.Use a whisk to get all the lumps out.Stir contatantly over a high heat until it gels.Use a wooden spoon to stir.

    2. When cool knead until smooth. This can also be made in the microwave by cooking for 4 mins, stirring every 30 secs.Store in a plastic food container in the fridge; it will keep for several weeks.

    It is not edible!

I used to make this when the kids were younger and I am sure the recipe I followed was simpler,if I find it I will post!

My mummy's recipe is the same but uses a cup of water instead of veg oil!
