I guess if you wanted to make sure you didn't ruin a saucepan it would be cheap to pick up one from a boot fair.0

i've done this many times and never ruined a pan yet. can't see whats in it that'd damage a non stick pan.0

recently saw recipe to make this in one of store mags. may have been somerfield, anyway cant find it now. it was a really easy one.
anyone got a simple recipe to make this or would it just be cheaper to buy the stuff.?

Playdough(from Somerfield Mag)
Prep.time. 10 mins
1 cup plain flour
half cup salt
30ml(2tbsp) cream of tartar
30ml(2tbsp) veg oil
food colouring
1.Mix all the ing. in a saucepan.Use a whisk to get all the lumps out.Stir contatantly over a high heat until it gels.Use a wooden spoon to stir.
2. When cool knead until smooth.This can also be made in the microwave by cooking for 4 mins,stirring every 30 secs.Store in a plastic food container in the fridge; it will keep for several weeks.
It is not edible!
I used to make this when the kids were younger and I am sure the recipe I followed was simpler,if I find it I will post!:j0 -
