Hi guys,
Does anyone know an address for Style cards and Argos card services in order to start the ball rolling with claiming my late fee charges????
Do I automatically assume it will cost £10 pounds per card or wait for a fee, could save money by doing so?!;)0 -
Hi how do you claim store card charges back? thanx0
-
Hi could you tell me how to claim charges back from store cards as i cant find a template and what charges can i claim.thanx0
-
OK guys im not giving up hope on the whole getting my pennies back, im just very confused as to which of my lot i can still claim from. i realise the courts have put a hold on all bank charge reclaims but im unsure if the people im going to list below are classed as banks, they are for items i took out store credit/loans for so its not my bank but they may be a bank so i dont know if i can claim. (i already got the money off natwest i was just in tme
)
Beneficial....I dont know if i can continue with my claim with them as they
are a bank of sorts, but it was a loan where they pay all my
outgoings n i pay them a bit a month
Clydesdale...I started a claim with them this was for items i bought on a
store card
Direct Auto Finance..AKA...Yes car credit/rip-off... These are not a bank
and i havent heard from them since asking for my charges
back, ive since sent them the PPI letters asking for that but
can i still claim for charges? (albeit £50 but its the principle!)
style....hmv store card can i stil get those?
Cetelem....Now this ones complicated, i had 2 accounts with them one for
an item bought in a shop and the other for the daft insurance
to cover said item. theyve sold my accounts to two different
companies, i have sent the letters asking for details of charges to
all THREE companies, the two who bought them havent replied
cetelem deny responsability and just returned my letter and told
me to contact the other two companies....should i carry on
fighting them, insist cetelem sort it out cause thats who i paid the
charges to or do i have to wait for the court result?
help from everyones is VERY much appreciated, LOVE THIS SITE, helps me sort out all the trouble i made myself get into years back!!

Hi I hope someone can help me?
Can I continue to claim aganist store cards?? (am just about to ask for statements) i.e GE Capital, Style Financial Services, GE Money....or are these on hold too?
Are these classed as credit cards?
I'm sorry if this has already been answered in the forum? I just can't find anything that answers this question??
I'd be sooo greatful if someone knows the answer to this could reply.
Thanks!!!0 -
In a word..........yes...........you can still claim from them as credit/store cards are not affected.
Going thru that process myself with GE at the moment.0 -
I had a store card ran by Style Financial Services Limited
The RBOS is the bank behind them. I wrote to the RBOS asking under the data protection act for them to release the account detials.
Theyve written back saying they cant process my request without an acconut number. I have no statements as its about 5 years ago when i settled the debt with them.
What can i do?
IM faxing style today to request they send me out my account number in the post.Halifax - Victory!
Capital One - Victory!
RBS - Cannot claim as it is a store card0 -

You can find the details
You can't really expect them to find details with next to no information or be willing to release it
For all they know the person moved and someone is trying to get details about it
Im sure once you have the account details etc they will happily give you the information they hold
I work for a bank and its amazing the amount of idiots who expect to get all the info they want by just giving their name, dob and address0 -
Thats the problem though
Its so long ago now i may not have anything regarding the account but my name, address and DOB. Thats the information im faxing through to this other crowd as its all i have.Halifax - Victory!

And what else do you expect people to come up with if name, address and DOB is all they remember? Do you honestly think a real fraudster could not obtain an account number from someone and try to gain info that way? A bank has the obligation to provide info under the Data Protection Act and should do everything in their power to help. It is amazing the amount of bank clerks who expect to get away with not doing so.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
