or rinse in the sink and then put in with normal washing basket?
most of the blood will rinse out there and then, the rest in a normal wash. there really is no need for a bucket, unless you do washable nappies aswell.
if your very particular about your undies, you can hand-wash them all at the end of the day, with your own organic soap flakes, and dry them on a radiator/sunny window sill. (which is what i did when a student in shared accomodation. What goes around - comes around

Thanks Caz, well, I've invested in some extra liners (I'm using the lunarpad system which has the liners which can be added to increase absorbancy) so I'm hoping that'll be enough.
I agree, the reusables are much more comfy than disposables!
I bought a small lidded bucket from a pound shop for soaking, and I have my big bucket for the nappies..so we'll see how that all works (the baby is now two days overdue!).0 -

No I wouldn't, but judging by your posts lately I'd suggest you take some loo roll to wipe your keyboard with... and possibly your chinThe stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -
