DownStream Connection Speed 2272 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed288 kbps
This 2272 - is this kbyte or kbits (units)? It differs to the speedtest anyhowBlackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
Blackadder: Yes it is.
Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.0 -

So you have been changed from a 1Mb to a 2Mb connection, not up to 8Mb. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

This number doesn't seem to work any more - does anyone have a current free/ 01 number?
Thanks
It's only a game

I do not have a broadband conection, but am thinking of changing from dialup. How should I go about getting this sort of discount as a possible new customer?0

I don't think you'll be able to. They normally offer this price to customers who call them up and threaten to leave after already having broadband for a year. The best you'll get is probably £24.99 if you provide your own router.0 -

Did they make you take the AOL Talk (phone call) package with this?. I'm still paying £14.99 for the 1MB service and am out of contract so am getting ready to do some haggling.0 -

I am sure they can put the price up at some point in the future if they want.0
