Have just sent email to Hillingdon police and have attached copies of emails to and from 'seller' which may help incriminate him further. Although I have told them I am no longer owed any money, I have told them not to hesitate to contact me if they require any further info.

Good idea Nat1979,they need to see what he 'nearly' got away with aswell.I still have my email from him saying he will post a pliko to Northern Ireland for free (my saving grace as this set the alarm bells off...we never get included in freepost!!)

Hi everyone - I was scammed by this rogue too :mad: !

however, I have notified the police (as well as eBay and paypal) and though I didn't get the buggy I wanted I'm lucky enough to have a nice hubby who (feeling sorry for me!)bought one for me. And though I am pretty mad (at myself as much as anyone else!), seeing my little one asleep in his new pram today, I thought - well, life's not so bad, right?

Keep smiling everyone! Not everyone is a scammer!

Is there some logic or process into who is e-mailing all the buyers who left negative on ebay, If someone could post up who has been messaged, I will be more than willing to message another 5 a day until we inform everyone possible.
This thread is gathering pace, lets keep the momentum up, till we get this scumbag behind bars. Good work by everyone concerned !!!!!

Hi, I have emailed the police on the 11th and got the following response on the 12th:
Hi Natalie,

Thank you for your e-mail, I have forwarded it to Crime Management Unit who will be looking into it.

Do you think I should call them for a reference number?
I also emailed paypal about my claim and explained the full situation and got this response:
Dear Natalie Stevens,

Thank you for contacting PayPal in relation to your complaint with your case.

Ms. Stevens, I understand that you would like to have a refund for this
transaction.

Upon reviewing your account I can see that this case is just waiting for
the sellers’ response. Please be advised that if the seller will not
respond in a given period of tome (10 days) this case will be decided in
your favour and the funds will be credited to your PayPal account.

For the meantime I have logged your email to this case as a reference. You
will be notified once we have an update.
