If you were hoping to get a O2 contract (or upgrade one) with inclusive 0844/0870 calls in next few days, sneeky O2 have changed goal posts. Today is now last day
"± The 20p/min rate applies on all Pay Monthly plans where customers have connected or upgraded from 27 April 2007 onwards, and calls to these numbers are not included in bundle minutes for these plans. Customers who have connected or upgraded to a Pay Monthly plan before April 27 will be charged as for standard UK landlines (01 & 02 numbers)."

Does anyone know if the sim free deals on o2 website include calls to 0800 etc. They mention on the website that they exclude calls to 07744 and 07755 and 0871. Is everything else still included???0

They dont from tomorrow as outlined in the original post.;)0 -
Intresting observation, new pay monthly customers seem to be getting a raw deal all round, the new charges for new customers are 5p more expensive than pay as you go customers.0

It's a shame that, would have thought that O2 would have given a bit more notice before making such a big change, rather than sneak it in on the sly.0

Umm, I ordered a contract online yesterday. But I haven't received my phone yet as its currently out of stock. However the order could be seen by the reps when I called them today, n they said order wud b delivered as soon as the phone is in stock.
Question is since i placed the order before today, wil the new changes in the t&cs b applicable to me? I tried askin the lady but she said she wud get back to me.0 -
does it apply to CPW O2 customers as well? Their website doesn't mention anything0

ok another question.......what if you have upgraded your handset on 15th April 2007 BUT your new tariff (through upgrade) doesn't connect until 4th may 2007?
I have my new handset but my new tariff doesn't start until 4th May?0 -

If your phone has NOT been connected to the O2 network then i would guess that the new changes will apply to you.
I doubt if it is possible to start contract with 02 without the company you ordered from giving them the handset IMEI number....(i.e handset would need to be in stock/available)0 -

I forgot to mention that I ordered from o2 direct. Does your reply stil hold in this case?
Can't I argue from the point of view that I ordered before the changes took place?0
