Dinah I hope your little one feels better soon, my son had the same and it was horrible bless him.
Thanks for the recipes. I am adding my sausage casserole recipe, according to myfitnesspal its about 334 calories per serving. We had it with green beans.
Sausage casserole
1 can, Baked Beans
2 cans Chopped Tomatoes
Mushrooms - Raw
Courgette
1 Beef Stock Cube
18 Skinless Sausages - still frozen is fine
1 can New Potatoes In Water
Put everything in a casserole dish along with enough boiling water to make the sauce cover everything. Give it a stir and cook at 180C for about an hour.
I added 2 tbsp of BBQ spice mix I had made. You could use normal sausage but the skins come off and float about in the sauce which I hate so we use skinless.
Thanks for this! Have added to the recipe list on Page 15 (Can you do a link on the first page Dinah?)Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That's amazing when you add all the weight loss up, never really thought of it like that. And well done NIM! Did you give birth or something?!!
I was talking to OH last night (over food.. about food) is that most of the time when I eat it's not that I'm hungry, it's just that I don't feel satisfied with what I've eaten! I find chewing gum helps kick the "I just want to eat things" craving, or if I genuinely am hungry after waiting I tend to have some nuts or a glass of milk.
Over slept this morning so didn't have time to do the squat challenge so I'll crack on after work. Had a cheeky look at the number but won't ruin the surprise for Shrimpy :A
Last night didn't go to plan as we wound up at a different restaurant. Had loaded potato skins starter (cheese and chive) and a beautiful goats cheese, red onion, tomato and chunky pesto wrap with sweet potato fries :smileyhea Going to really focus these next 5 days to keep me on track.
So happy it's Friday! Have the day to myself tomorrow so I'm taking myself to see The Hobbit (really been putting it off, like when people said their childhood ended with the last Harry Potter movie. LoTR was my everything so I'm not ready to say bye! How sad is that?!) (I'm also probably going to cry) and the whoooole night to myself so I'm planning lots of healthy meals and dog walks to fill my time. Anyone have any plans?!
Hope everyone has a nice weekend!Hope Baby-B is feeling better soon too, Dinah.

I'm another one who weighs in the nude first thing in the morning, making sure to line the scales up with the same spot on the floor (I use the outlines of the tiles). Had a cheeky jump on them this morning and it's good to see that the exercise barrier has been broken and the scales have jumped down by more than half a lb. Really hoping my will power holds out over the weekend as we're going out for a meal with OH's family who are feeders and many times over the years I've said "no I don't want a desert" only to find some choclate filled thing put down in front of me moments later!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

I changed from carpet to cheap vinyl tiles a few years ago, and since then have known exactly where 'the spot' is

Our scales at the office are on a tile that someone brought in as the carpet tiles were causing weird readings and they've been in the same spot for years, move the scales at your peril!
I had a walk down to the canteen this morning with my workmates as they were getting toast (and I just fancied the wander) and I'd forgotten that it's Full English Friday! Felt very good walking out having bought nothing, and judging everyone else for piling up their plates! In our office Biggest Loser competition we've been put into teams so they're watching me... had to swear that I hadn't bought anything in the canteen, I daren't even nip down for a slice of toast now!
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I've got no plans, DH is on a coach trip with rugby so he'll be home late (probably a bit worse for wear too!) so I'm going to have a treat that isn't too treaty for tea...Not sure about Sunday yet, if it's nice we'll probably go on a walk somewhere and I'm tempted to make the Hairy Bikers' Tangle Pie.

Back to the topic of evening munchies, I find that 100-200g cottage cheese sorts me out. A hefty dose of protein and no sugar. And low-fat, low-carb and low-calorie too!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hi all,
I'm very pleased with my weight loss this morning, will declare it on Wednesday. Hubby has lost 3lbs so he's really chuffed especially as we haven't exercised as such this week, we've just cut down portions.
I would never go to bed hungry, I just wouldn't sleep. I'd have a thin slice of toast and drop a few calories the next day.0 -
So proud of all of us, that's an incredible weight loss for a week
Covent Garden Co. soups are £1 in Sainsburys. Got a tomato one for dinner later, about 192 calories in the whole carton but I'll probably only eat half or so, depends how I feel.
I have found my alternative to a chocolate bar in the form of Dark Chocolate Corn Thins! reduced in Sainsburys to 69p for four servings - will have to pick up some for next week (and bananas - must remember!)

Like the idea of weighing yourself without glasses on. I could tell myself I weighed anything I wanted, that's if I could actually find the scales in the first place without my glasses on
Done day 3 of 30 day squat challenge. Can feel it, but not painful or anything.
Got sausage and lentil casserole in the slow cooker for dinner.
Pack of low fat sausages
Tin of tomatoes
Tin of beans
Cup of lentils
Tin of carrots
Lamb oxo
Dried mint
Water - enough for the lentils to absorb.
It produces loads, and will do tonights dinner and 4 or 5 tupperwares for mine and hubby's packed lunches next week.Zebras rock0
