  • Weighing in at 187 and 1/4 lbs (187.25lbs) so lost 2 and a 1/4 lbs and I'm happy with that as I haven't been 100% well or on plan.

Looking forward to the next week!

  • #41 checking in with 191.4lb so a loss of 2lb! :T

Very pleased with this as I too have succumbed to Christmas chocolates 😊- no more though as I put the rest in the bin, I knew if I left them in the house I would definitely not be able to resist them.

Good luck everyone with weigh in today xx

I read this as though you had served it in an actual coconut! I was awestruck!

That's exactly what I did
Cinny I deffo think the booteas are a massive rip off, get some peppermint tea down you!

Currently am doing! Still finishing off the bootea though, I quite like it but in the same way I like green tea. Just a nice drink! Don't know if it's really doing much else?!

Best wishes with the IVF, EverTheOptimist :) And Happy Belated Birthdaaaay! Totally with Birdie on this, everyone gets cake on their Birthday.

Love the sound of your tea, Dinah! Our stir fry was delish, and I don't normally like shrimpyprawny things much. I think I was just so ready for solid food at the end of the day, would have chewed on an old boot :o:o

Weighed in this morning at 172.75 but classing it as 173lb so a loss of 5lb for me.

OH is also on the bandwagon with me, and lost 9lb this week

Well done everyone! Even people who STS, we're all making healthier steps and that's what matters really :j

    #38 reporting in at 171.8lb - giving a loss of 2.6lb in 4 days

Amazed at that as my weigh-ins were 1st and then Monday morning - so only 4 days, and I didn't actually start the calorie counting until after weigh-in on Monday !! It's not as if I ate huge quantities over the festive season to have piled on loads that would give a quick loss when I stopped eating them again (I don't "do" Christmas, and due to that plus need to stay off fats, sugar and dairy didn't buy any of the 'special' foods), so I'm not quite sure what happened

I normally lose more than my 0.5lb target in week 1 of calorie counting, so could be looking at another decent loss to report next week - but I'm not counting my chickens, especially as I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the moment (4th day of struggling to get up in the morning, and 2nd day of coughing up nastiness!)

Well done everyone, what a great start!

My weigh in was 162.5lb so 1.5lb off. Pretty pleased, but not sure how accurate it will be as it's my TOTM. I've done 3 really good gym sessions this week, but need to be more active on my off days.

So impressed with everyone - it's really motivating :D

  • Holds my hands up in surrender!

Must be the first to fail. Was trying to book train tickets last night and the website wouldn't work so was determined to get up and book them this morning. This distracted me from standing on the scales!

I promise I will weigh first thing tomorrow morning and post my weight. I get up at just gone half five so hopefully Dinah you will be able to still get it in your spreadsheet.

    Sorry folks!

Well done to all those that have done so well in the first part week. I am hoping for the same success.

which is amazing for me. I'm inching closer and closer to the 10st something mark which I've not seen for a number of years :j

Well done everyone on your weight loss in the last few days, it's fab what a bunch of determined people can do :T:T:T

    Hi all!

Weighed in this morning at 134lbs so that is 5lbs off

Am away this weekend and nice food and drink will no doubt be consumed so pleased to have a good head start this week.

Recipe post is an awesome idea Birdie, thanks! I've got some kind of beef stew concoction in the slow cooker for tea, I'm hungry already thinking about it!

Happy Birthday for yesterday EverTheOptimist - it would be against the law to not have cake on your birthday! All the best for your IVF too :)

Well done everyone! The main thing is we are all taking steps to improve our health, the number on the scale is just one measure of that.
