They're not even paying up anymore. I've been waiting on 2 cashbacks and they've just ignored my threats. It's been almost 60 days since they received my documents and way over 30 days since they accepted my cashback. I'm going to complain to ofcom and then seek advice from consumerdirect. Going to take legal action if necessary.

Thanks to grayme-m for your reply. Does anyone think I returned the claim too late??
I agree with grayme-m, that TMO received the claim on day 21 i.e. the 21st day after the "date of issue", which I understand to mean the invoice date. As you say the T&Cs state "within 21 days", would this mean "21 days or less"? I would think so, and therefore TMO should honour your cash back claim. I guess they (TMO) may try to argue that 17th August (issue date) is day one, meaning that 7th September is day 22. They are probably just trying it on to test your metal, in the hope that you will give up your claim. From their point of view, it's probably worth a try on the off chance you would give up. Don't let them get away with it!0 -
Thanks James212. I hope my metal passes the test. I will of course not let them get away with it.0

You've been around long enough to know that they ignore "Threats".
If you have threatened them and not followed through with it, then you are to blame for them ignoring you.
Complain to OFCOM, it will give them another 28 days or so to delay paying you.
Then add another 14 extra days for consumer direct's part in your claim.

Wee query for you more 'knowlegable' guys like 'thesaint' & 'Brenda' etc. If I 'upgrade' my contract with vodafone on month 10, of a 12 month contract, resulting in my bills 11 & 12 basically being cut in half will this make my cash back application No 4 & 5 void or will TMO just pay out less? Appreciate advice on this. Thanks.0

Hi
I just a letter from Mobile Outlet that
"We have receive all bills however you omitted to send us full bill (excluding itemised pages)
You have not included the required pages of each bill, your application for cash back has been denied"
The first thing a I have always the first page first of bill where it say how much is the bill this month and what was paid last with thank you. and that is also I am sure confirmed by themobileoutlet here in forum.
I have sent them an email to customer service and a copy to forumqueries@themobileoutlet.co.uk
I have never had any problem with TMO in the past, and I am sure the forum query team will handle this matter nicely as usual.

I am mad with TMO because I have a contract with TMO taken out last Nov 2006 & everything was going well including 'cashbacks' until yesterday when I receive a letter from them saying that they 'received bills 8 to 9 outwith the 21 days' ...etc and that the rest of cb (totalling a whopping £252) will now be 'invalid'. The thing is that I have been meticulas with regards to following their t&a and DID send bills 8 & 9 first class with 5 days to spare!! PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO!! I am broke and need this cb for Christmas presents! I've read a lot of this forum but no real clear solutions I think. Would very much appreciate a reply from some of you more knowledgable, experienced guys in 'the know'! titchieboy, can you confirm that you have now had your claim reinstated.
If so, why do you want to mess it up again.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
