    all @ MO.

    Hi,
I experienced exactly the same with CB#3.
Is your claim overdue, and if it is by how much?
I had to resort to a LBA before I got paid...
TMO have been replying to emails sent to the forumqueries address for others recently, so you may want to try that address again.....If your claim is VERY late, then proceed with a LBA.
  • Just a warning to those thinking of taking out this offer...I took out exactly the same deal as Brenda in March. CPW credited my account with the wrong amount at the start & rang to apologise, saying to make it up to me they would give me more minutes & texts per month at no extra cost to me. What they did was put me on an O2 contract costing £35 per month. I have sent more than 30 emails, only 2 of which have been replied to, had over a dozen telephone conversations and sent recorded delivery letters. Every person I have spoken to has apologised, said they can see what the mistake is and assured me they would rectify it. Nobody has. I have in writing from two different people confirmation that it is their mistake and that they will cancel my account as requested at no cost to me, crediting my account with any charge for early termination and costs so far, and send me my PAC code. Nothing. I cancelled my direct debit some time ago now and they are now threatening me with court for non-payment. I've never experienced such mass incompetence.

I e-mailed all three addreses again and this morning, I had a reply from forum queries.

They asked if I was sure I had submitted by fourth claim because it did not appear on their systems.

I swiftly replied with my Royal Mail track and trace number showing they received it well within 21 days of the bill date.

    I await a reply..

To obtain your cashback will require a greater ability with the English language in dealing with both TMO and the courts than you have.

You need to find someone who is more familiar with English (and with England) than you are and who is prepared to lead you through the process of reading the excellent information that is contained in this thread. Everything that you need to know is contained in it.

Please also take on board that people in England are not honourable and that there is much corruption in this country. (Not that any Freemason and/or politician would explain this to you.)

    Hello Brenda,

Thanks a lot for your advise, ohhhh....definately i need to learn the english first.....but i am damn sure my english is much better than 50-60% of Local people.....so its not the issue for claiming the money back.......reg TMO i will do my best......i did best against the CPW and NTL in uk and proved that CSA in both company are wrong and i was correct.......reg TMO this company itself is CRAP.....i already once got in touch with Director's office in T Mobile - UK same as CPW and NTL........i still have contact details and direct numbers of all..........i will give them a buzz and ask if they (T-Mobile) can help as TMO is one of there AUTHORISED MOBILE AGENT in UK.........if not i will put down my GUN against TMO as i have no hope from the senior and admin of this FORUM......as its BIG NAME .....and so far only no good feeding to me.......and i am not having that much time to read all 50 pages of FORUM to learn ENGLISH.......forums are made to help each other and share experiances and knowledge........and not to blame each other.....or to advise LEARN ENGLISH...........

Thanks any way.....n thanks for advise.......

tmovictim, hindsight is a wonderful thing, but why did you get a year long contract if you weren't going to be in the country for that long?

Another query I have is that you said you had an online bill contract, yet had two paper bills?

    Hello,
As international person, working in UK, depends upon the contract given my employer....some time it goes till intial given time....some time it gets over due to completion of project well ahead of the given time .........

Reg two paper bills.....i recieved in the month one and two.....then i requested T Mobile to change it to paperless as it was easy for me to control online in case of change of address......which i did in June.....and also to be so called "Enviornment Friendly" fewer in UK

Is there any chance i can close my contract without paying money for remaining months - Monthly Rent?

    Advise

Environmentally friendly or not, you shouldn't have gone for paperless billing when TMO stipulate that you need to send original bills in their T&Cs.

You could call T Mobile and ask them to reduce your contract cost per month going forward.

For someone like you, it seems that a cashback deal is just not 'ideal'.

    Hello Again

    Sorry grayme (he knows why!)

Issued claim and they said would look again. They offered to pay remaining CB, instalments bot not 1st. They said that the t & c's had the word inclusive in. They posted me a copy which stated:

    1. In month 4 of your contract you will need to forward bills 1through to 4 to us within 21 days (inclusive)of the issue date on bill number 4.

Being as i was dealing TMO i thought i would double check, well blow me down i found t & c's relevant to when i took out the contract (March 07) and THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ALL IMPORTANT WORD INCLUSIVE THERE.

Is anyone aware of any t & c's prior to March 07 that were worded like this, i suspect they may have been altered.

Further i declined there offer, and they came back with an offer to pay all cashback, but no mention of costs. i'm sure they would pay the costs (if they've got any sense, silly me of course they don't).

Alternatively should i maintain that they are in breach of contract and insist on the full years cashback?

If so, can anyone assist with successes of this type please.

Thanks to everyone for all their help, not just on this thread but the whole site!

Has anybody had their cashback claim stuffed by this postal strike?

    Hi Brenda,

Received my October Bill from Orange yesterday (10th October). Bill dated the 1st October.
Just Scanned all of Bill, so off to the Post Office to send my 3rd Claim.
Had email off them saying my very very late 2nd payment has been sent via bacs this morning.

Was just about to start the court proceedings!

    No problem PJB :)

Odd one really, if you had broken the T&Cs then they wouldn't pay any of your CB, why offer all but the first... ;)

I'd keep going so I wasn't out of pocket if it was me...
