Reading the full thread and also the RAMADA t&cs are essential for a successful claim and "FREE " stay MDP.
That way, when you claim, there are no little loop holes for RAMADA to jump through, so when you book you can be certain of success.
It can be a slog, and sometimes even more of one finding a potentially successful stay but if you are getting a £100 room for FREE its often worth it.
Anyone who has read blindmans excellent Priceline for the timid article will understand the importance and benefit of the attention to detail.
I believe blindman was just pointing this out for your benefit MDP0 -
I'm getting confused, gonna have a rest from finding a room for the moment. I can't believe how quick some of you guys and Girls are.:mad:0

If you READ the posts you find no-one has been to the Hotels yet.
I have! The Days Inn offer is all part and parcel of the same thing, and I stayed at Days Inn Luton earlier this year for free. Very nice it was too (even more impressed because I thought Days Inn's were supposed to be scutty!) xGone ... or have I?0 -

On the UK site, an Executive Room at Newton Park for 6 October 2007 is £145. On Ramada.com, the price is £130. The terms of the Ramada Jarvis guarantee state that if there is a cheaper rate on www.ramadajarvis.co.uk then no free night will be offered, you will get the cheaper rate. It is very specific about this. I've booked the room via www.ramadajarvis.co.uk and submitted a claim form naming www.ramada.com as the cheaper competitor site.
Update to follow........
Looking forward to hearing how you get on Glenn. You're right - it just says "another website" - and ramada.com is another website, so I can't see how they could wriggle out of it!
The only potential catch I can see is:f there is a rate available on ramadajarvis.co.uk or through the Ramada Jarvis Call Centre number that is the same or lower than the qualifying rate on the other website, the Ramada Jarvis best available rate will be offered to the guest. No free room night will apply.
So maybe they could say that their Call Centre could have matched the cheaper price on the other website???0 -
Absolutely, taxiphil. My guess is that, had I called the Ramada Jarvis Call Centre, I would have been given a choice of exactly the same rates as available on the Ramada Jarvis website. We'll have to see what happens! This space has been intentionally left blank0

After they tried the 'you haven't shown us the correct screenshot' email, I sent the screenshot of the final booking page to them [from Expedia] that clearly shows the rate £10 lower than Ramada but silence. My email was sent about 8.30 this morning. Should I call them or just wait??
Darn Glenthebaker, why oh why did I not do that myself?! too busy concerned with free room! bet you it is approved!0 -
Can I please have a step by step instruction of how to do a screen shot please, sorry to be a pain!!If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0
