    Most people thinks that virus is all what slow down your computer. That's not true. If you install program which take 50% CPU Usage than it's your fault. It's not virus, just greedy program.

    It's smart you are all using protection as antivirus, firewall, etc.. but do not just install it and leave it. Configure it for your usage. It can be very greedy...

    Greedy????? What on earth do you mean??? If you have no security, you must be crazy!!!

    Mcafees awful so I dont know any any 'good' packages no :p

    Kasperskys about as good as the paid for ones get

    someone above told me to look at amazon i looked here but its very confusng all different prices http://www.amazon.co.uk/

    none of them in that link offer a 2 year deal which i would like as itd be cheper

  • I use AVG Free, ZoneAlarm free version, IE Privacy Keeper, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Eraser to make sure deleted files are deleted, and TrueCrypt to protect files in case my computer is stolen. All free and all decent products.
