unfortunately he can get far better deal getting a new contract

So were they letting him stay on the same plan?
Just I'm on 600 min ( dont need that many though)
    unlimited texts
    unlimited internet
    30 free picture messages
    £30 with £15 loyalty discount

and im wanting to see keep the same plan for the same price, and just get a new phone ( but a good one e.g htc hero)
  • eww thats a good plan wish he had that, not sure if they would let him stay on the same but hw would want better anyway ie similar to what you have. I do not think he was offered a brilliant plan with htc hero

Yeah I doubt I'll get offered the same plan either tbh
  • On third call over past month or so finally managed;

Free Nokia 5800 (wouldn't shift on hero)
    250 mins (never go over)
100 texts (again never go over)
    80mb monthly mobile internet
keep free home internet, (good speed so ideal)

£15 per month, 18 month contract

    Quite pleased.

Just now got a deal which I think is good as I never went over my tarriff on the Racoon 30 12 months contract.
Now I have got a HTC Hero with
    200 min
    300 texts
    Unlimited Landline calls
    500 Mb internet bundle
& a USB Broadband dongle with 500 MB of mobile broadband.

    All this for £20
Ver happy as I had been paying arround £30/month(after cashback) for 12 months when I got the Nokia 5800 last year
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T
  • ive just got of the phone to orange retensions. was on panther 45 for £40

now ben offered bb bold 9700, 1200 anytime mins, unlim text, free mms, 80 mb internet usage, and memory card...for....£25.00

accepted now thinking can i push for more, maybe a bluetooth headset lol
  • is that with the bb bundle ?
  • It isnt noo

I dont need the bb bundle as i will be selling the upgrade as already using iphone.

To be honest i mite give them another ring as looking back i was paying £30 already as a retension deal for the same package, so the discount i got was an extra £5 of the line rental with the bb and free mms

he was saying cant do anymore as the bb expensive if you choose another phone then line rental can be cheaper

It'll have to be with the BB bundle, otherwise no point having a Blackberry

MY 18 month contract is up in a couple of weeks. When I am out of contract do I still have to give 30 days notice?
