    check out

    http://www.london2for1.com/2for1/default.asp

i'm taking my kids to london next weekend with the above vouchers, we used something similar last year and saved a packet. this year we're going to madame tussauds, the tower of london, pollocks toy museum and for me we are going to vinopolis(wine tasing ;D) There are plenty of sites with varying accomodation prices, sites i looked at included:
    http://www.hotels-london.co.uk/

    http://www.londontown.com/

and the one i booked with

    http://www.superbreak.com/go/cj001/

if you look carefully on superbreak there are a few hotels which are doing 3 nights for the price of 2.

Due to a pricing error (which they are honoring) i'm staying at a hilton hotel (bed and breakfast)with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym!!! with all that and all the walking i should hopefully lose those excess xmas pounds!!!!

Hope this is helpful to you

    Hi all

Not sure if you can help with this and huge apologies if this has been asked before. My boyfriend and I are going to London at the beginning of Feb to celebrate our anniversary. We'd love to say in a lovely hotel near the West End. There's so much to look at on the internet so I thought perhaps some personal recommendations would be best. We've saved up a bit and could afford around £75 each per night ideally this would include a full breakfast! Any suggestions? Thanks ever so much for your help.

Try a Hilton deal for around £100 each for TWO nights (i.e. £50 a night pp) with full breakfast AND a 3 course meal on the first night.
I've done this twice, at the 4* Green Park Hilton, which is a short walk from Picadilly Circus.
Scour the papers for their ads or check their website.
You won't get a better deal IMO.

Go to https://www.londontown.com Here you can get 5* Hotels in Mayfair for £150 (60% reduction on the rack rate).

For £90 a night over the weekend The Holiday Inn, Berkley St, Mayfair (Opp The Ritz) is astounding value.

Best Western Hotels do rooms for £79.90 per night and is also in Mayfair (Bryanstan St).

Beware of the cost of breakfast in hotels. Recently I paid £14.50 for a full english. Except Sunday go to Fortnum & Mason. They do a fantastic Full English Breakfast for £14 and will set you up for a day shopping. This link takes you to the Fountain Restaurant at F&M. http://www.fortnumandmason.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Fortnums.woa/wa/BFContentAction/content?name=Restaurants_Fountain

Treat yourself to 1st class train travel. VIRGIN do "Value 1st" single tickets and you can travel 1st class for very little money using these single tickets rather than return tickets.

To get a good restaurant in London at unbelievable prices use https://www.toptable.co.uk You will be astounded at the prices on offer.

A good quality small hotel in the Fitzrovia area (behind Oxford St) is https://www.rathbonehotel.com on Rathbone St is highly recommended. To get a good rate use londontown.com and select small luxury hotels instead of the main option.

    Enjoy your celebrations.

If you do go, do the bus tour from https://www.citiesforfree.com. You will see all the sites but it does take the best part of the day.

We went to London for New Year with our two boys.
They Loved the film Polar Express at the Imax at Waterloo. May still be on when you go. The London Transport museum in covent garden. We all found the science museum very boring and the Natural history museum, but lots of people like them. The Rain Forest Cafe is an fun experience, done out like a rain forest with moving animals. Thought the adult meals were very poor. The kids meals were o.k. They loved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Snowman at the theatre. They loved eating in China Town with chopsticks. We always book with Superbreak.

We stayed at this place. Parking plentiful and free, easy to get to from M25 no food included breakfast is about £6 a head ,children free up to a certain age. The evening meal in the child friendly ajoining restauraunt/pub was very good value and was also about £6 a head. Tea and coffee in the room was free.
