    Try this place http://www.innkeeperslodge.com/lodgedetail.asp?lodgeID=41

You can book a family room and it has good food for the evening meal etc, rooms are cheaper at the weekend. ;)

    Hi guys,

Don't the new site look great.

    Anyways.

Going with kids (14,11 & 8 - all boys) to London in half term week.

Any suggestion of how to keep them amused?

Just found out that Legoland Winsor is closed.

So all suggestions (any offers around) appreciated.

    Thank you all in advance.

  • London Eye - book it online and get a little discount http://www.ba-londoneye.com/ but it is closed until early feb.

Boys being boys they might a visit to the Nike Store

Seeing Buckingham Palace and Leicester Square are good, Trocidero off Leicester square isn't too bad for kids
2p off is still 2p off!

  • We want to go to London for a 3 night break from 29 march. We live in Blackpool and wondered if anyone could help. I have a budget of between £300 and £350. We are open to any method of travel except car. Would like to stay fairly centrally in either hotel or B&B. There are 2 adults and 1 child and would prefer to share one room. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    thanks in anticipation!
Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.
  • It's basically a shopping centre/mall but I guess you'll find that out from the website.

Time Out is a kind of travel guide/book check https://www.timeout.com for details and they do one on London and specifically for kids, should find it in most book stores or try searching online
2p off is still 2p off!
  • I remember as a child going to the Science museum and I hear it has continued to improve over the years and there should be enough to keep all age groups involved.

I hear museums in London are also free, so hopefully it will be a cost effective trip too.

I am aware there are London Walks and I think they do some suitable for children, which takes you on a guided tour making London more exciting for them, I think you can pick up leaflets in the underground and tourist info offices, it was a couple of years ago when I went on one but they are great fun, and if you get the right one for the kids they should love it too.

    Enjoy the break.
