https://www.laterooms.com could be a good place for finding cheap hotel.
I booked a one night hotel in London from that site last month. Instead of paying standard rate of £90 for a double room, I paid only £49. ;D ;D0 -
Have you tried https://www.priceline.co.uk You basically put in the price that you're willing to pay, in the category/area that is right (eg 3 star in Bloomsbury). We got a Holiday Inn at the end of June for £45 right in the centre.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0

We need to take our car to London for a weekend of sightseeing. We do not need to use it while we are there, so can anybody help as to where best to park it cheaply?
Thanks in advance.0 -
I've yet to see anywhere in London that has cheap car parking...........sorry, maybe someone else can help.
Don't make my mistake. I entered the London Congestion Charging Zone.............then got a £40 fine through the post. Be careful not to enter the zone unless you really have to, then make sure you pay the £5 daily charge.
I found the best (and cheapest) way of getting around London was with an all day bus ticket, allowing you to hop on and off freely.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Hi
The Congestion Charge doesn't apply at weekends.
From the Transport for London website: Congestion Operating Hours: 7am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.0 -
