    Better day flying wise today.
I have tidied kitchen, washed up , turned washing around, been to chemist, sorted dinner for later, had my hair cut and even cut out al my craft activities for my little ones tomorrow morning. Bedroom tidy and dress etc found for wedding this weekend. I even found a little hanbag to match the dress in the shops this afternoon with 40% off so treated myself as a weight loss present, so I no longer have to 'make do' with the black one that supposedly goes with everything (or nothing).
Not sure if OH is going away tonight or not but either way I am planning on sitting down with my feet up and watching Top Chef (with a cup of tea).

    Have a good evening all
    xx

DS (who has stepped up to Benny feeding as I am working) has tried Benny on his soupo in a dish as he's not keen on being syring fed - it's woking. Al this morning's grated carrot has been scoffed. V. v. pleased

Sorry to hear your news ATB.

Working silly hours trying to do two peoples jobs this week and trying to keep job no. 2 ticking over. Madness. Struggling to switch off and forget about it all which doesnt help.

Anyhow I have tried really hard to keep swishing/swiping/putting wm on in the hope that if I survive till the weekend the house wont be a complete disaster.

Beyond tired. Hot shower and jim jams on when I have brought the washing in.

Frantic day - I found out that I'd been 'volunteered' for three separate, highly important and time critical jobs that all required my Specialist Knowledge and Expertise - all at precisely the same time. So lots of digging my heels in and telling various people very matter-of-factly what I could do and when. And an hour and a half of overtime to fit it all in to stop total disasters and failure of all jobs.

Tomorrow is going to be the same. I've not specifically volunteered to go in early (I don't want to set a precedent for it), but I'm going to try to drag myself up and out an hour before normal, just in case it all starts going wrong before I get there. Because if anything does go wrong, I'll hear all about it at great length and asked to clarify exactly why I couldn't/didn't do anything to stop it.

Himself is popping out to get some stuff for the fridge in a minute (because it's empty, which led to a 'So why isn't there any food in the house or packaging in the recycling?', ie, 'have you been eating?') and then I'm going to have an early night in the knowledge that there is something else to eat if I'm desperate later on.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Ironed. Worked on a pile ~ I swear they are breeding, which resulted in some shredding and some binning and some recycling. Sewed button back on trousers (fault of button design which means I flick them off). Took recycling bins out. DW filled, laundry pile at top of stairs ready to go in. In bed. Left work earlier than usual as had errand in town to do. Essentials bought from Savers. Nipped in to Marks. YS food now in freezer inc 2 duck breasts at £1.50 instead of £7. Consider this to be excellent scrimping.

I got up at 5.00, saw DH off to Germany (he got a taxi to the station), started work immediately, finished my essay and submitted it just before 11.00. I don't think it's a very good essay, but it is the best I can offer. I actually re-wrote most of the 2500 words yesterday and today!

I've just had my lunch and am now off to set up for the toddler group. I need to do some food shopping today, take Rosie for a good long walk (for my benefit as well as hers), clear up all my papers and books, move the computer into my BR, and make up the beds for DGS3+4 who are coming here for the weekend. I might also try to mow the lawn later if it stays sunny and dry. I will have to do a quick clean through the house tomorrow before I take Rosie to her class, then go to collect the boys.

Ooh, NDN is having their fences repaired/panels replaced :D

Glad bunny is improving, Valli :) Well done on the ironing and scrimping :T:T
Hope your DH or DS3 finds the battery, pigpen!

Will check in again this evening, if I can stay awake. Hope everyone is having a good day xx
