Fantastic inspiration for everyone taking part Donnylover.

How much do you think you've saved since you quit?
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

No idea how much I have saved but it has to be a lot!

I spent £ 40 a week on cigs but only £ 5- 10 on vapes on average (depends on batteries etc)

The biggest difference I have noticed is that the cheap white wine I always drank now tastes vile and I've swapped to a more expensive Rose :D

I used the nicorette inhalator: had to at least pretend I was smoking with a cuppa outside the back door . Lots of fresh, chopped fruit to keep from screaming . And lots of walks, especially when its really tough and you JUST HAVE to go and buy 10 cigs - but thankfully the need goes when you get there .

I'm 3 years into being a non smoker. It's tough at first but after about a year I looked back & knew giving up was one of the best things I ever did. You think it's not affecting your health until you climb a lot of stairs a few months after giving up & realise you are not out of Breath like you used to be. It certainly damages your Wealth!

    Good luck all x

I am trying to just use my e cig , my aim is to become a vaper and then slowly decrease that so eventually I can say I am an Ex Smoker and an Ex Vaper, thats my plan anyway ;)

We asked Public Health England about giving up using ecigarettes.

    It told us
"The best thing a smoker can do for their health is stop smoking now, completely and forever. E-cigarettes are now the most popular aid to quitting and the evidence clearly tells us that they are safer than smoking. Quitting can be hard: different things work for different people and the evidence shows that e-cigarettes can help users cut down on tobacco or quit completely. If you are using an e-cigarette or any other quitting aid, all of our free daily support gives you additional help to get you through 28 days smokefree. Sign up now by searching Stoptober"

Ex smokers who gave up using ecigarettes - how long did it take you to stop vaping?
