  • You can get the Olympus E series case at Argos for £17.61 see link E Series link,
its £29.99 in most places. The case will fit the camera and both lenses in.
I'm probably going to get another case as well just for the camera, if anybody sees the leather E case at a decent price can they post the details.

Hi, I have only just discovered this thread, and am very tempted. Does anyone know what availibility there is in stores in the Hertfordshire area?

    TIA x

Not a clue I'm afraid, but I do know that the man was browsing through stock across the country and there is a LOT left, especially in Currys and Dixons stores. So I'd suggest going to your local Currys or Dixons and asking, then following the advice given on this thread about the 'GA' method.

Did anybody else know Pixmania is also owned by PC World and the DSGi group?

i went to my local pc world and asked them to do a ga for me from the superstore nextdoor to themselves but was refused by the manager as he said, which is true, for every camera they accept onto there stock file they lose around £100 selling it at that price.
he wouldnt even do me one for a favour ah well.
the manager was ok about it but i spoke to a jobsworth moron beforehand who was cruising for a bruising; i felt he was rude and spoke down to me.

all you people getting them ga'd over are very lucky.

woohoo i just got one today :j

for anyone not able to GA one - persist.
Today was my 8th visit to a PC world and got lucky.
You have to keep trying (even the same store but with different people or day).

The people in the Northholt PC world were so nice in comparison with the others and they did it in 10 mins max no fuss. Just sat down, rang the store and done.
So if anyone in north london wants a good pc world to go to go to northholt.

2 more cameras in west drayton (which agreed to release their stock) and in luton. Also 2 more in wembley but the manager there refused so dont bother with that store.
Theres quite a few display ones avaliable too at other stores.
In hounslow there were 6 cameras when i checked on sunday.

So lots of stock still avaliable so you just need to find the right pc world (go when not busy and ask a seniorish guy).

good luck to the rest of you trying to get one. but i'm happy now after days of searching.

The lenses that are included in with the camera are the 14-42mm and 40-150mm.

15-75m? WOW! That'd be an awesome lens! ;)

I bought one a few days ago and refunded it! It doesn;t really fit both Lenses very well. I wanted a case that can hold everything, camera, lenses, charger and plug. I found one on ebay shipped from HK. It seems to be the best size not too big and can carry the whole lot.
