Normally, I would say no way. Let all the silver posters stick to their threads (whilst the board isnt making them vanish). However, in this case, I think it would be way more productive!I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

This thread is really important in making people aware of the Sterling Equity hedge fund con and we really don't want it being deleted!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Well done Norman, welcome to the forums, you're doing a great job. Sorry you haven't had a good reception; seems some posters here just don't like lowlife who thieve from grannies and grandads.
BTW, if you could just be sure to mention sterling equity hedge fund scam in each of your posts that will help ensure that Google gives a good ranking for this thread and make it more likely to be read.
If you could pop along and do the same when they change their name to something else that would be helpful.0 -
perhaps we should discuss the motivations of scammers who promote organisations like sterling equity hedge fund. Is the job market that bad?0

Dear All,
I wonder whether there is any other way scams can be identified quickly and perhaps even the history of scammers exposed for all.
I was rather pleased with my own finding that the address was not recognised by Google Earth, a freebie product of immense value.
A comprehensive database of all scammers which could be updated quicker than they can change their names.
Does Interpol have such a database?
Whilst appreciative of all efforts here, you are after all only individuals.
I think something more is required.
Regards

Anyone who reviews all the posts that have been made about Sterling Equity would find that they are a fraud and acting illegally by offering investments in the UK.
No review of Sterling Equity Hedge fund would be complete without mentioning the reasons why they are a fraud.
1) Operating against UK law by selling investments in the UK
2) Fake address given that no such company exists at
3) Stock photos used for their entire team and reason given afterwards is highly dubious
4) No record exists in the US of Sterling Equity Hedge fund yet they are supposedly based there
5) Returns shown are too good to be true - and that means they are!
6) Real companies do not cold call selling investments
So in conclusion any Sterling Equity Hedge fund review would show that no investor in the UK should ever give them money or personal details to avoid being contacted by any other boiler room scams.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

And yes Sterling Equitry Corporation is on it.
However any list is hampered by the firms constant name changes and the fear of getting sued should any genuine company get put on the list by mistake.0 -
Rollinghome, are you suggesting that Sterling Equity Hedge fund is a scam and that if anyone was looking for a review of Sterling Equity Hedge fund then this thread would be a good place to start?
Just to confirm it, I asked my dog and even he was in no doubt. So it seems that those chaps at Stirling Equity Hedge fund, as they are calling themselves this month, are just another bunch of scammers and the photos of the board members, as you pointed out earlier, are fraudulent. Whatever next.0 -
I shamefully admit that this has been one of my favourite threads to read in a long time.
Thanks to all for contributung and especially normansands our run of the mill, novice, pensioner investor (well at least he tried to convince everyone this is the case but he has been rather unsuccessful). you've made this thread what it is normansands but mainly because I'd be kicking myself if I were you, for making such a hash of this marketing exercise, although I sense you probably enjoyed it despite the damage its done to sterling equity.
thanks again

I have no doubt the build up of evidence proved overwhelming and too strong to resist.
Inevitably many scammers leave an 'internet' trail which could be a useful starting point in trying to identify them.
Unfortunately by virtue of the internet they can be chameleon like in their behaviour since they can assume a different identity and character at the click of a mouse.
If you pursue these scammers with the same dogged and relentless determination you have shown in regard to Sterling Equity Hedge Fund, which we all now seem to be agreed is a scam, then they have underestimated our resolve and expertise.
You must excuse any sceptics - who may doubt your reluctance to give up the fight once joined.
Those engaged in scams rely on naivety, ignorance and gullible potential investors, some of them pensioners like you and I, who we must endeavour to protect, on occasion from themselves.
I trust you enjoy this worthwhile endeavour and even if we only prevent one misguided investor from being swindled, it will be more than worthwhile and you can take some credit for having been a part of it.0
