The offending chunky hair cut - you can't really tell the colour!

Edit to cut out some identifying features xx

  • Secretdebts you poor thing. How have they made it so uneven. Hope you manage to get it sorted. On the plus side, I do like the colour :) I think you're handling it very well. If someone hacked my hair I would not be happy.

To the person who asked about savings, OH and I are planning to save £6k. We're just over a third of the way there at the minute. The main reason is that our direct debits alone are £1365 (mortgage is £820) so with my partners wage (which can vary, but usually is just under £1000) we need all the help we can get. I earn approx £1500/month at the minute but this will drop to around £550 when I'm on maternity. That £1000 deficit is what we've looked at. 6 x £1000 = £6000 for me to me off for £6k. In reality I hope we don't need it all but can't afford to get behind on the mortgage sadly. Additionally, we want around £1000 to set up for the new baby, but not sure how likely that is on top. I guess it depends on how long it takes to conceive. Tonight is hopefully going to be our lucky night! But if it takes a couple more months, at least we'd have a little more money at our disposal I guess :(
