    My Goals for 2011

Savings Challenge/ Deposit for House: £16,000 (£1,964.13 needed to achieve this, £163.68 p/m)
Premium Bonds: £3,500 (£500 needed to achieve this, can only put in a minimum of £50 p/m as regular savings so should get to £3,600)

I am going to look at opening another current account up to transfer the money to and then distribute it into the savings accounts.

Once the above is done I will change the details of my quidco account so the money goes directly into this account too.

I would urge all those saving to buy a house to wait a few years as there is a massive market correction about to happen - prices will drop like you wouldn't believe. Certainly I'm going to wait approx 3 years.

    Glad to hear it :D
Too many property speculators - woops, I meant home-loaners... trying to offload their overpriced homes (read: debt) onto the younger generation. Sit it out.

Theres been talk of a crash for 20years, simply put supply and demand especially is cities means we will never see such a crash. Im in the process of buying in london and still anything half good is getting snapped up. As with interest rates about to rise now is the time to buy and fix for max no. of years you can, and as a long term buy house prices only move one way.
