I was contemplating a trip to Asda but I don't know if I cba! Plus I should be good and not spend anymore money until payday! :cool:

J is flat out! OH just checked him and he's snoring - am definitely going to feed him later and see what happens. OH wants me to get drunk tonight but I won't - I'm too worried J will wake & I'll put him on our bed.

Oh talking of drink.. We've got our recycling boxes near the front door, supposedly as a reminder to put them out but we haven't done it for about six weeks (fortnightly collection) and now we look like right drunks given the amount of wine and beer bottles in the glass box!

Really must remember to put them out next time, not this Monday but next I think.

Another off topic rant.. but..
We got a evening invitation to the wedding do of an old college friend today. I've seen her once since Rhys was born and once while pregnant. They've been living together for years already and the invite says "[they] have requested that gifts be in the form of monetary donations"... Donations to(wards) what exactly?! Even if you're going to spend the money on your gas bill, surely some vague/false/bluff idea might be nice for the guests?! :cool:

I'm thinking of doing the cupcakes first as I've never made them before I don't want to be rushing them.

Just waiting for Katie to be deeply asleep before I rev up the hand mixer.

Right just going to dig out all the ingredients as they're scattered about the house.

Oh kewl, my mum's coming round. She's in town anyway so I txt her saying I was bored and she's coming to pick me up to go to Asda

We want to look at that Chicco stroller if they have it in already cos that's one of the ones on mum's shortlist anyway. I know it'll be sod's law they don't have anything in ours yet :cool:

I just said the same to DH tonight that El has lost a fair bit of weight in the 4/5 days she was poorly.

we dont have recyling bins here yet so have to go to Asda were the big recyling point is and it is always so funny on a Sun morning seeing everyone with bags of bottles !!

we asked for money for our wedding .... why do people find it rude ?? not being cheeky BTW, I genuinely want to know

ETA, she was sick a few more times, but is in bed and not heard her yet. She needs to sleep, she won't down here as she likes her cot. Hoping she has a good long sleep, she will feel better afterwards. If she is still ill tomorrow or later tonight I will phone NHS 24. She is ill but not worryingly ill, more feeling sorry for herself ill right now. Plus, if I have to take her up it means getting someone to look after the boys and Chris is ill and well, I want to make sure it is needed before messing about.
