T o me the quinny zapp just looks like a waste of time and money :rotfl:

We've bought the only buggy we could agree on, takes up a lot of the boot but will be perfect on the bus for me if I havent managed to pass my driving test by then!

We did get all the varying bits of it from ebay though. It's £556 new without the carrycot/pram bit, and we got all of it for just over £200.

Zapps are ok, but I don't know how anyone could manage without a shopping basket? Maybe they only ever go out with someone else to carry the shopping? That could be where I'm going wrong. :rotfl: That and having a matiz. If I put my handbag in the boot then it is pretty much full up! Petit star zia all the way :)

I used to use the tesco ones in the purple packs when I could get there when my others were tiny. They were very good :)

I've got a Volvo estate so could get half my furniture in the boot :rotfl: unfortunately I've got to send my licence away to the DVLA etc then actually pass the bleeding test before I can drive it on my own :rotfl:

  • Oh Glam -- sounds like you need some neurofen yourself! Can you pop him in the buggy/sling and take him for a walk round the block? Even if it doesn't calm him down a bit of fresh air will help you keep yourself calm.

  • Right... we're off to get DH from work, take him to the allotment, then watch him [strike]argue with his dad and brother[/strike] mend the shed roof. DH told me this morning he thinks it will take half an hour. My Dad thinks it will take about 3 hours. Who wants to place a bet on who is nearest? ;) Hopefuly Izzy will cooperate with sitting in her buggy watching me dig for a bit too... Lots do do down there!

Then tonight we have to watch Dr Who on iplayer, as I think it is on until tomorrow.

It's all go! Talk to you all later/tomorrow.

I'm ok, I have an estate and a 7 seater with 2 seats removed so plenty of space for my 2 big prams! :D And shopping. And a spade, loo roll, games, spare jumpers, first aid kit, football and a lonely bottle of water.

I need to sell the twister... but I love it... and I love the joolz too... I need them both!!!

Kindof, I've got another leaflet from Asda (the one from the free local paper) that says they have Huggies Size 3-6 SuperDry boxes for £11.

ooo I really like the look of the Zia...might see if I can pick up one secondhand when I'm ready to go forward-facing :D. Haven't decided if we'll take a pram or no when we fly to the USA in July (have been told we can borrow one when we get there, but you never know) but if we do it's going to have to be something other than my current one as it doesn't fold small enough!

We need to look for a 7 seater because with 4 kids and 2 adults if we want to go anywhere together we wont get in the volvo!

OH seems to want a massive Landrover though, not sure we can afford the tax etc on two big cars and I don't want people to think I'm a dozy tart with a Chelsea tractor if I have to go around in a 7 seat Landy all week :o
