I like asda/tesco vests. Primark ones don't sit right at the neck and they shrink in the TD. I don't know if I am more snobby now or if primark has gotten worse, but they boys had a few things from them and they were ok. Amber has had a few sleepsuits, but the quality is really bad. Although, I've noticed that asda and tesco have went downhill quality wise too. Dug out some of the boys old clothes and the asda stuff is a lot better than it is now.

I'll stick to next and boots :p

I'm still going on when twins were little so going back a while!

I have seen some lovely baby clothes in Sainsbury's though :)

forgot to say, Caz I find that Asda make clothes for rounded kids, really short legs n arms and massive waist. Most of there stuff looks awful on my boys.

I like the sainsbury's vests Ed is in right now, got them 3yrs ago tho so dunno if quality is still as good.

Tesco were best for Chris in sleep suits but I couldn't get Eds chunky legs in them :rotfl: Has to be m&s or next for trousers for Chris.
I'm terrible for buying expensive stuff for the boys tho :o

Ahh, Ahh, Ahh, Ahhhhhhhhhh, Waaaaaaahhhhhhhh, goes Alex. Non stop. Am at home with him today, as can't subject the childminder to the constant crying. I am presuming its just teeth as, he ahs a temperature that is being controlled by calpol and a million dirty nappies. Will hardly take any milk and no food either.
Will give try him with a bottle again, then take him for a walk. See if that calms him.

Hugs to all other poorly babies and Caz, glad Charlie is home.

Kieren is a nightmare, those top teeth are just sitting right there. The barest hint through the gum but they're really bulging! Hes got a temp, a runny tum and generally feeling sorry for himself. Hes barely ate a thing, just bottles but hes crying cos hes hungry :(

  • Afternoon all... feeling a bit out of it at the mo - I'm too busy to keep up, so when I do pop in it's just to say hi, then I disapear before I can ready any replies!

Izzy has a funny new habit - if she is in her buggy or in the car she HAS to take her shoes (and preferably socks too) off before she falls asleep. It is a good way to tell she is tired when off come the shoes :) I did think maybe they were getting too small, but the lady at the shop says they are still fine. We went and had a look at new shoes, and the first ones Izzy picked off the shelf were the ones she already has. She did take a shine to some white sandals - by the time she does need new ones it will probably be sandals weather, so she may get her way ;)

I did a temp job with the Health Protection Agency one time (in the contagious diseases section, too) and this is exactly the sort of thing they really look into to try and find the source, etc. It was kinda interesting, but  that there's been more cases of this thing...hope it doesn't spread to more poor kiddies :(.

Massage was nice, if not a bit short because this is the 1st lesson. I must just be lucky because there was no sign-up or waiting list...I just turned up? *shrug* Only knew about it from my baby group (it's the same place) and all very informal. Once this is over I really need to enquire at the SS centre closer to me as it's over a mile each way to this one (lazy, I know! - but up like a 20% gradiant hill on the way home :o) and apparently the one closer also does baby groups and stuff.

I can't believe I have my heating on right now...the house was freezing!! wish April would make up its mind.

I find that Next clothes run really small...we have Primark vests that fit nicely but they're already stretching out so glad I need them for 3 months, you know?
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Has everyone got the mail out from Asda today about the baby event? They have the usual Hauck buggy (£25) plus the Chicco Winter London stroller for £50 (which is £60 on Kiddicare and £90 in M'care atm).

Does the Hauck fold up small does anyone know? we are going to the lakes in october and our graco practically takes up the whole boot lol (we have a bravo, so boot isnt small) and was wondering whether to get one of these in the event?

Am I bad for not getting Elliot dressed much? he is 4 weeks old and has had proper clothes on twice, all other times he is in vest and babygro? I just dont see a point dressing him when he sleeps most of the day (barr about 4 hours) and if we were to go out with pram he has his pram suit on anyway?

CSH the ones that come with travel systems last till they are 9kg?

Gym I'd be very interested in how you set your spreadsheet out, Id like to do that too

I am watching the uk urban chart, I LOVE the new Usher song!!!!

Yay for Caz and Charlie being home

    (((hugs))) Agutka
