I have a question about Roboform. I had to completly start my laptop from scratch again because it wasn't working right. I had backed up. But when I came to put the back up disck onto the laptop it didn't work.
I have lost every thing that was on it. There wasn't much a few photos & some music but the thing I was most upset about was that I lost all my info on Robo Form. I was using the free version because I couldn't afford the £20 a year.
So my question is if I had brought the full version of Robo Form & the back up failed would I still get my info back if I signed into Robo Form or would I still of lost every thing.
Hope that made senceThanks
I would be gutted if I lost my data as I have over 400 passwords and a few IDs. I back up my Roboform to flashdrive every so often. Its in the right click menu from the Roboform icon. Go Options - User Data - Back up.
I mainly wanted to point out that Roboform is a one off cost, and not £20 repeated every year. It was def the best ever £15ish I have ever spent, so much so that I purchased the reduced mutiple licence so that I could run it on my lappy and at my Mams as well.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -

Hello Again,
I forwarded the below e-mail to the forum website that i mentioned in my previous e-mail to you and i have been advised that i should contact the Institute of Sales Promotions.
If i do not recieve an adequate reply within 24 hours as i believe the excuse i was given was not acceptable as i live in a mid terraced house off a main road from a large town and 2 weeks after winning your competition a fire engine managed to pull father christmas in his sleigh down my road so i cannot understand how my house can be in accessible to a postman who would be posting 4 small batteries to my property.
If the reason was because of adverse snow conditions then i think you should at least honour the prize as this was not my fault.
I appreciate that the prize is only batteries but at the end of the day,i entered your competition in good faith and i believe this should be recipricated by yourselves.
Many Thanks
I didn't think it was too pushy but obviously it must have been.i'm really annoyed and embarrassed at the way they have handled this matter.I don't really know what else to say.
oh dear
theyve stopped the competiton now because of a complaint:rotfl::p
ps i wouldnt have complained to a regulatory body for a pack of batteries0 -
ginjim - I feel that what the prize was is irrelevant - they haven't honoured a win and the 'complaint' was justified. Shame the website involved are very shallow and can't send a measly 4 batteries back to the winner. Totally over reacted.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
Thanks MamZi.
Its funny I lost some pics & music but I wasn't botherd about that but was gutted my passwords went :rotfl: It says for a years subscription on the website so I just assumed you pay every year, but if its a one off then I wouldn't mind paying the £20.
I will look for the back up option. Thanks :beer:This Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -

Luckyone, its the best money you will spend if you like doing comps. It means you can fill all your details in on most forms, and save the whole form and just press fill & submit with one click on a lot of them.
For example the daily Nutells one I filled it out once, now I just go to the page, press fill and submit - done with one click, same with the Lucozade one, and 99% of the others. So for example on the Nuttella one there are drop down boxes that you have to select, - with roboform pro, you select the one you want and when saving the form your selection stays there.
4 times the amount of comps done in the time it takes to do one. Sometimes you have to login to a site, so you fill & submit your login, then save the form that enters regular comps, so then another click and its filled in. Difficult to explain, but its brilliant.
I also bought the full version of Roboform2Go so when I visit my sons down in South of France (sad I know, but he's out all day - my excuse, and I'm sticking to it) I just use dongle with Roboform2Go so I can do all comps from there really quickly as I have all my passwords on there, and I've 1000's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

I have just checked out the free competition in my local free 'Community Times' magazine, what a fantastic idea.
:j
Does anyone else get a local magazine which runs competitions? I presume local mags don't get as many entries as the national ones. Does anyone post any links to local mags already?
I know that if you won this you would have to come to this area - Rickmansworth is nearly at the end of Metropolitan line from London, but I think it could be well worth the train fare. Looks like the prize would be worth a good few hundred pounds.
I would be quite happy to travel to some other areas if I won, any other competitions in your local 'Community Times' or any other free magazines you can share?0 -

well they did honour a win
its just unfortunate that it couldnt be delivered
however i feel that a complaint to the top governing body wasnt justified
it wasnt as if they were knowingly trying to decieve people0
