Made me laugh what they put on the invoice for the free batteries:"Pack and send using lowest cost method, we're giving it away!"
Whenever I've won anything from a radio station comp it gets sent special delivery, but there again they're only batteries I guess

I know some (not all) postmen/women are lazy. The postman we have now is great though.

Did they send it when we had al the snow? If so then the company should honour the terms of the comp and resend them out to you as it was an 'act of God' that meant they couldn't deliver. You could try telling them that as the reply just seems like a load of bull.

Lazy??!! I guarantee I won't get any mail when its raining, and as for snow...forget it

Not sure if this is the right place, but I won paintballing vouchers for a Bedlam site in Scotland. They are worth £750 (24 people at £30 each) but I can no longer use them. I will give them away to someone if they want them, and I can give more details about them. I don't think proof of ID is required, just the voucher, even though it does have my name on it.

Shame really, I quite like paintballing, but no one else seems to!

I would like some advice please. I won some lingerie from this comp in october http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1915091&highlight=playgirllondon.

I still havent recieved the prize.I have emailed 3 times and told them what i would like. Last email was sent 19th jan.

I dont want to be a nuisance but just wondered if i should email again.

I had this situation with 2 companies recently, both had, had 2 emails so the third email i sent was a little different.

I stated the same to both, " Having to contact

for a third time regarding my prize win of ..., makes me feel very awkward, as what was a fun, excited feeling has now been turned to bitter disappointment, therefore to save myself from any further embarrassment i'm contacting the ISP to chase this up on my behalf."

Both within 2 hours had emailed me, one of those had ignored me since november, and both wins arrived within 5 days.

took your advice on the above (although message wasn't for me!) and emailed company (with your message) ive been waiting 5 months for (nintendo ds) and they replied within 5 mins saying prize will be sent out today!

was going to report them to isp next week if i hadn't heard from them
