    If the SD was issued on the 4th december and i did not receive until the 24th december,how can I then have the 18 days in which to have it set aside??
    You need to put them to “Strict proof” that you received it earlier

    “Strict proof” means the onus is on them to prove

  • I do have a letter from uk debt and legal services that says the SD was hand delivered on 24.12.08 by one of their 'representatives'...is that proof too?

    I've been reading on this site for the last couple of years (and have learned loads), but never posted on this thread before. 10past6 seems incredibly helpful and there are many lovely people here. I really hope things start looking up for you soon as you do seem to have had a very hard time recently. Good luck for 2009.
