  • Hey MMD - Have just read through this entire thread and although I can't offer any advice I just wanted to say welcome to the forum and as you're finding out, it's a great place to be! Hope things get better for you, especially with New Year just round the corner!
PROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS
  • hi everyone and thankyou for your support.I really appreciate it and feel I am no longer alone in this mess.
I went back to court this morning and filed my SD set aside documents - the 18 days is counted from when the SD is received so I was within the time!

I now have AMEX on my case threatening legal action as well - they have sent me a "cca" but again not sure if it's the real thing or not. will have a closer look later :) x

If you can post it up I'll take a look, remember MMD the letters you receive are only "threats" of what they "may" do, only worry as and when they take any action.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

    Re: Complaint

I write with reference to your letter dated xxxx

I am investigating your complaint and can confirm that we have in place a procedure whereby we try to investigate and resolve complaints within an 8 week period.

I will respond to the issues raised asap.
