*great big hugs to PoppyOscar and to everyone that needs one* I'm just back from work and about to make homemade sweet and sour chicken with noodles for tea, then have to clean the car before the rain sets in *joy* Other than that, if I get the chance I'm going to try and finish a bit more of the teddy I'm knitting for a present and try and relax. One more working day til the weekend!0

Had the day from hell at work, but the first one for a long time.

Well, the usual apology about not reading today - sorry!
My dear friend last night - well! I have been going over in my mind today. We always joked about booking a double room in the care home when we are in our 80s. Not going to happen but we did joke about that one last night!
Had a busy day at work as end of term tomorrow. Came home and the carpet cleaner has done a good job on the lounge carpet. 35 years old so never pristine but wow! You do not want to know what has been on there over the years! The heating is on to dry out and I won't walk on it until at least tomorrow night to allow to dry. Oh dear, will DH pick up that fuel costs higher since he went away at end of May?
PMs so much appreciated. Please take hugs everyone.
Just about to go to friends next door for dinner!

Just a quick one. Half way through some phone calls that I need to make. It is proving even more difficult than I feared. We all seem to set each other off. I KNOW things will get better but right now am struggling to see how we will cope with the next week, then the inquest. Sorry to moan-you have all been so amazing just needed to speak to friends for a couple of minutes. I am now a bit more composed so will go and make the other calls. Hope everyone is safe warm and dry. The weather here is dreadful-strong winds and has been raining very heavily since lunchtime. Got the fire on. Take care and thanks for all your love and support. Have a (dry!)nice evening. Ann xxxBlind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Hello All, sorry not been around for the last week but time is just flying away from me at the moment.
Hugs to Anniestar, Penpin, GB, Snowyowl, Kazwookie, kyle, poppyoscar and everyone else that would like or needs one.
Today has been a good day for me, I got my Long Service and Good Conduct Medal! 15 yrs in the Army with no discipline recorded!!! So this afternoon I sat out with my neighbours and we polished off a half bottle of Champagne that just happended to be in my fridge
and a couple of beers! While doing this I made a tray bake for work tomorrow that sank a bit in the middle - not paying it any attention :rotfl: . We decided as it was a school night that we would celebrate properly tomorrow with a couple of bottles of wine and a takeaway, not very OS but it is a special occasion!
So JackieO I will raise a glass to you tomorrow night, well done on getting through the last year.
Right am feeling a bit tipsy still so think I will put myself to bed. Have a good evening one and all.
Take care,
Suesy Sue xxxxxx0
