Nickim - you can post as often as you want - you'll soon get to know that sometimes I just can't stop talking and post several times a day!

R.MAC - I'm nothing as good, angelic and qualified as a real nurse; I'm a dental nurse - gory at times but manageable, with no shift work. I had no right leaving the work through stress when I think how hard our real nurses work. It's an NHS practice in a really poor area of town and very very busy.

If asked, I may go back but only on a part-time basis because, once you're there, it's as if the patients are being wheeled in on a conveyor belt! Luckily, today wasn't too busy - apart from the phone ringing non stop, because one of the dentists had to leave early so we finished before 5pm.

My 'real' line of work is as a legal secretary so how I ended up dental nursing I'll never know! Having said that, most of my friends are doing jobs that are nothing like the ones they originally trained for!

Aussie - no-one ever asks me for directions or maps and I don't wonder why! I am absolutely hopeless at navigation.

Sorry to all those having dreadful weather - it's really lovely here. Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.

    See you later.

Anniestar, I decided to follow your advice and started to order the shoes.

However the standard delivery charge to N.Ireland made me go :eek::eek: as it was £12. I will live without the damn shoes!!

Tonight's excitement is my visiting my friend. We're going to do each others grey roots. See, told ya it was exciting.

    Evening all

    SNOWY hugs hun.

AUSSIE he's got to be joking!!!!

ANNIESTAR I quite agree with your philosophy, having worked with ill people for so many years life is for living however you choose to do it.

Hugs and hi to anyone new or who needs one. POOKY Happy Birthday for yesterday.

Have reviewed 5 paers today so am pleased. Tea was pasta, tuna with some mayo and pesto, with salad from the garden. DS scoffed the lot. Just had more strawberries. Taking DS to karate in a mo. Off to water the pots and see if I've got any more raspberries.

    Have a good night all.

Hello Kaat_Lady - yes, there is a thread like this one every day, it always has the day's date in the thread title, so it's easy to find. And you can post as many times as you want as well, there's always someone around.

I have enough bread dough to feed me pittas for a life time. But they are really good, especially when you've judged the thickness right.

    *hands round pittas*

I am also thinking about whether to attempt to sell stuff on Ebay...it just seems scary! EEK
