Morning. Hope everyone had a decent nights sleep.
PoppyOscar sweetheart, there are NO words that any of us can say to make things better right now, but please know that the thoughts and love of everyone on here are with you. ((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))). Just take every minute as it comes and look after yourself.
Hope everyone has a decent day. Will post later. Ann xxxx

    Morning all

Another lovely day on the Planet Thanet.

POPPY HUGS TO YOU, HAVE PM'D YOU.

HUGS PENPIN, GRANNY, ANNIESTAR, CANDYGIRL AND HER DAD AND ANYONE ELSE WHO IS POORLY OR FED UP.

Tried to get back on the thread yesterday but it told me it was closed until 5am for maintenance. Went to a meeting at DS primary school he starts at in September. His new teacher is supposed to be excellent, so hopefully she will sort out his difficulty with reading early on. DS is disappointed as he wanted to be "taught by a man", he really is such a bloke!

Managed to fall asleep studying yesterday! It really is that riveting. Off to hang out washing in a mo and empty dishwasher. Plan to study today all day, with the odd break. Oh Joy! No idea whats for tea. Will go to the allotment when DS is at karate later.

    Have a good day all.

  • Poppy - Can't say anything more than those above, though I wish I could come up with something fab. All I can say is you are in my thoughts and take care of yourself. Remember we love you!:grouphug:

Kyle - It could be an allergy, I get one as part of my hayfever and thats always worse when I spend long times with windows open (which they constantly are in the bedroom) and when I wake up.

Well, I've got more tidying to do before I go to w**k today, at least we sorted out the tax stuff for sis yesterday so no more dealing with that, YAY!!!! Gonna finish the living room and sort out the bedroom, well basic tidy and cleaning, in preperation for smash bros takover of sky city.:T Need to vaccum everywhere aswell. Any ideas for simple fridgable meals I can put away for the weekend? We won't be leaving the sofa to cook much, though I have burgers and chilli made up at the mo and I intend to do full roast dinner for tea on sunday so I'm not doing too bad. We are very sad people Im afraid. Ah well takes allsorts or so they say.

    Hugs and love to all!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good morning everyone

Poppyoscar what an ordeal for you. (((hugs))) As many others have said, we are here if you need us.
(((hugs))) too to those in need - which is quite a few of us at the moment.

Last day at w**k for me this week as DS and DD have an inset day tomorrow so I have taken it as a day's holiday. :j It's pouring with rain just now and it's supposed to last for the next few days. Typical, as my washing basket is full.

WM is on but will have to put the clothes on the airer. Will need to get some more done when I get home.

Chicken for dinner tonight and lunch is a salad roll with fruit salad. Breakfast will be boiled egg and toast. Yum.

Payday for job No 2 today. :j Need to make sure my bank accounts are sorted as this is the last payday before our holiday next month. Soooo looking forward to it but will be asking my mum to say a novena that the weather is good for us (she has a vested interest as she is coming with us. ;) ).

Have a thrilling Thursday everyone. xx

Enjoy Colin Fry, I went to see him last year, and he gave someone the best message I have ever heard. I've also been to see Gordon Smith and Tony Stockwell, and they are fabulous.

    *hugs to Poppyoscar*

Well...I am about to go on a mission to find the person's house to collect my Freecycled whisk. It's not like it's in area which I don't know, but I can easily get lost going anywhere.

My pre-uni flute teacher has a concert next week, and says I can play...but not sure, I was all up for it, but then it might be a bit strange as I won't know anyone else, she says she won't have any time to chat, and I have no idea what to play. But on the other hand, she was an excellent mentor and I haven't seen her for over a year. Je ne sais pas.

Going to attempt to make pitta bread today and going to post some brownie to various friends across the country.
