    All about the money

    Noone wants to work anymore...

Just how do i get something for free...

If it wasnt about the money, why wouldnt you take them to tribunal like you previously mentioned as you wanted to 'expose' them...

I hope you seriously get nothing...

hate people that preach then do the reverse...

"Do as I say and not as i do..."

Well lets see I had to leave my job.

scuppered my plans to start a family.

I am now suffering financially .

and I am going to tribunal. So there I am exposing them. Although most people told me to settle.

The bloody company havent even had the decency to repsond or contact me.

Del I really hope something likes this happens to you my world has been destroyed and comments like your dont bloody help.

It just become like ambulance chasing..like all over America..

and all this is doing is damaging opportunities for other disabled people to get work...

will this company now think twice about employing other people after taken to tribunal...probably...

    but good luck...

just do things that make you happy

Im sure you must of had opportunities to escalate to higher management especially as you say you were a manager yourself..

And also at start you said you had done something so bad you thought you were fired anyway...

And you already have a new job....

    So whats the complaints about??

Delboy, who should rich have to explain herself to you? some companies treat their employees like shit and get away with it so i for one am glad that someone is taking a stand, and whats this about disabled people?

do you think if Rich had the opportunity to escalate this to "higher management" she would have reached this point.

I took my company to an industrial tribunal way back in 1996 under the unfair dismissal and sex discrimination rules.

When asked how much I wanted my reply was ..... "my maternity pay or at least half of it", this was despite being told I could go for upwards of 10k.

I just wanted what was right..they decided they didn't want to pay for the compulsory maternity pay so sacked me (they said as much, 2 woman pregnant at the same time scared them a little).

What people have to remember is that at that point in time, maternity was only paid for a fraction of the time it is paid now so my total payout (settled out of court) was less than £500 (in fact I think it could even have been less than £400 but time blurs the actual figure)

I was happy with that despite all the stress, the loss of money at the time leading to a severe strain on our finances and the time involved when heavily pregnant....justice was done.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • Guys to give you an idea what I have done.

Reported my grievance had a meeting planned for the beginning of July.
    No one turned up!
Even though they decided date and time.

had another meeting 3 weeks ago, Still waiting for Judgement.

So i have exhausted the grievance route, Acas advised me to go to tribunal as I was not even getting the courtesy of a decent grievance.

I have lost my job, my life is in turmoil, my health is suffering, my future plans have now been delayed. And I am struggling financially.

I think I have the right to go to tribunal.

If someone assaulted you surely you would charge them?

    Thanks for all the support.

    Hey Richie :hello:

Do you know yet if you have got a default judgement?

Also, please don't take the comments of one person to heart so much that it makes you cry. They are clearly just wanting to 'have a pop' at someone, and you just happened to be there. Some of the things he has said are just plain ridiculous (damaging opportunities for disabled people to get work MY ARSE - if anything, you are helping to ensure that disabled people aren't treated in an inferior manner in the workplace, by standing up for your rights and MAKING the company re-examine how it treats people).

If I were you, I wouldn't even respond to such rubbish. Someone on here (can't remember who) has a sig that says 'arguing with a fool proves there are two'.....lol!! And we all know you're not a fool, so rise above it and ignore it.

And have a (((hug))) from me, to cheer you up. :)
