I don't know where you are based but I know that there is an emergency dental clinic at the Royal London Hospital. I know someone that had to go there & she told me that she didn't have to pay. (Not sure of the circumstances of her not having to pay, have you tried calling NHS direct? They may be able to help)
nothing to see here, move along...
  • as you need emergency treatment, is there a dental access centre near you?

OK, thats very interesting, thanks for that. The incident was of course reported to the police (I went straight there as it happened where the officer saw for himself), I have no criminal record, however I'm still trying to get into the dentists as I've recently moved and cannot get into an NHS dentist anywhere near me (could be up to another month on the waiting list!)

    Thanks again!

You don't need to be registered with an NHS dentist to get emergency treatment. Just phone up NHS direct, explain what's happened, and they'll get you an emergency appointment with a nearby NHS dentist in the next few days.

My mum did this when she broke a tooth, as she doesn't have an NHS dentist either.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Or, just maybe, it was a Tesco employee who did it! My photo circulated around the whole of the UK (labeled Tesco Enemy No. 1) two years ago for once R&R'ing a bottle of wine they overcharged me on had been imprinted in his brain. And when he saw me he just couldn't contain his anger!

Sigh. Why do some people always set out to cause trouble for no reason... You're being ever so slightly ridiculous.

Can I remind you again that it wasn't me that suggested this theory, and that at that point you had not stated that the store was over 100 miles away from your usual store.

I still don't wholly believe your story. If the assault was as serious as you/ taxiphil  are implying it would have inevitably made the newspapers. If it did, can we have a link to the story please?

At which store was it that you were assaulted? Maybe an MSEer saw it, and you would come forward as a witness?:p

Anyone who doesn't that Tesco has CCTV on all it's checkouts and at least one security guard on duty is probably living in Teletubbie land.
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

As I said. I have worked for retailers with similar sized stores with similar product ranges who haven't. So I don't think it's quiet living in teletubbieland!

Depends on the size of the store. Ours did not have full time security until they doubled in size to a super duper Extra store, they just had it at key times, such as Friday nights.

Also, having CCTV, and having CCTV in operation are two very different things!

It doesnt matter if you didn't originally 'suggest' this theory, you're championing it as if its fact wheras the original 'suggestion' was just that which makes it much worse and much more ridiculous.

It's pretty obvious you've just come in this thread not to provide any help, but to cause trouble for no reason whatsoever which is just a bit pathetic really. As such, you're being ignored. Although I could quite easily, I dont need to prove anything to you because as mentioned before, they have the guy and he's admitted everything, and plenty of decent people have given me enough to go on.

    Not necessarily.

DD was walking down the road with some friends when a car drew up next to them, a large guy alighted, rearranged the face of one of the group and drove off. It was a random attack and of course the police were involved (utterly useless) but it was never reported in the paper.

What makes you think all attacks are?

Attacks are not usually (repeat usually - reapeat for the stupid) random.

Most of the time someone has caused an issue and got a punch in return. Most of the time (you can make your own suggestions, not mine).

However all this conspiracy stuff is really pointless. No, Lee Harvey Oswald, did not shop in Tesco that day and hide behind a pallet of beans before jumping out and attack anyone and above all there is no conspiracy between Tesco & Police.

    Sad people. Goto bed.
