Oh! Okay, but still, worth keeping updated, as you say.redsquirrel80 wrote: »Onwards and.. sideways...
This made me laugh out loud in reality! :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
OK, surveying like mad here - really let it slip in the last couple of months. Got home to Clubcard vouchers (£6) and found £5 worth of points in Juicy Brains account (have to claim that as Amazon voucher but will try to spend it on something useful!)
Waiting for £20 worth of Debenhams vouchers (included in last month's pathetic total), will have to use them to get the extra bits I need for wedding outfit. They're usually pretty quick at delivering the vouchers so should hopefully manage to get in to the 70% off sale while it's still on!
Oh and I checked my bank balance and have £9.03 left from this month :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Right, I think it's time for a great big scary bank holiday weekend list...
Friday
- pick up package from PO
- send off cheques for debts and rent
- print off forms for evening classes
- Tesco shopping (need to write a list)
- change all the lightbulbs that have gone in my flat!
- dye hair
- do any surveys that come in
- do daily clicks
Over the weekend (Sat to Tues)
- give flat a really good clean (this will be broken down into further horrible tasks)
- tidy garden and pick potatoes
- clear out scary chest of drawers full of paperwork
- buy bits for wedding outfit
- sort out anything I can find to eBay
- do lots of surveys (hopefully!)
There will be more I'm sure...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I'm a bit useless really, not a good start
Friday
- pick up package from PO - slept in
- send off cheques for debts and rent - forgot to bring cheque book to work with me
- print off forms for evening classes
- Tesco shopping (need to write a list)
- change all the lightbulbs that have gone in my flat!
- dye hair
- do any surveys that come in
- do daily clicks
OK, should be able to manage the rest, surely! And do cheques this evening, I need to buy stamps anyway.
SOA type thing for the month:
Currently in bank - £936.12
Outgoings:
Rent - £500
Council tax - £59
TV licence - £12
Phone/ broadband - £45 (plus due another £45 for calls made abroad, but my mum set up the contract for me and I pay her the monthly amount so might see if I can owe her this extra bit for now)
Debt payments - £165
DVD subscription - £6
Professional membership - £4.58 (going to look into cancelling this but it'll still come out this month)
Total - £791.58
Leaving - £144.54 or £99.54 with the extra phone bill.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Oh Squirrel! Well, you've got the list there, you can catch up if you push it. If you do the cheques when you get home, for instance, they'll get to where they're going on the same business day, cos its Friday, remember! You can recover from the bad start!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

And it's a bank holiday on Monday.. sooo.. just want to get them out of the way really!
I'm off work all next week, got the family wedding next weekend so heading down there on Thursday.. hopefully the time off will give me a chance to get a grip on things, do some serious money-raising, and have some sleep!!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Getting there...
Friday
- pick up package from PO - now on list for tomorrow
- send off cheques for debts and rent - tonight or tomorrow
- print off forms for evening classes - done
- Tesco shopping (need to write a list)- done
- change all the lightbulbs that have gone in my flat!
- dye hair
- do any surveys that come in - done
- do daily clicks
Going on the basis that I've got £100 for the month, I spent £1.94 on lunch (tut) and exactly £10 on food and toiletries... so that's £88.06 left! Was meant to be going to friend's tomorrow but might cancel, I can't really justify £20 on a train fare and I feel absolutely shattered, seem to be coming down with a cold  See how I feel tomorrow!
No sign of the Debenhams vouchers yet, hoping they turn up tomorrow so I can go and look for those final bits for wedding outfit.
Oh, and I really wanted wine but was very good and came home to the remains of the Tesco cheapie Vermouth!!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

OH.. cook.... :rotfl:Actually, he can, sort of, but he doesn't. To be fair though, when he comes round he generally does buy the food and drink. Parents are down next week as well and they generally bring home-made/ grown stuff... I will survive!
List needs further broken down into nasty housework jobs like 'defrost fridge' and 'scrub bathroom'.. yickDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I hate doing the bathroom. I am sure everyone waits until it is sparkling clean then uses it..the swines!
And why is it that they all clean up after themselves, yet bathroom a pigsty?
One of God's little mysteries:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
