tiamai, they're cutlery from the OT, they have 'finger holes' which has helped him with positioning of his hands. It's hard work at the mo, he's quite resistant to it aswell as struggling to get used to them but has said he wants Jelly for school again if he can take his spoon. As for the paranoid parents, we have dealt with several over the years, one of the 'looked after children' (in care) who was at my sons last school caused uproar with 2 paranoid parents as she was HIV positive, such ignorance displayed by the parents, part lack of education and part ignorance.
vanilla pleased it went well, congratulations
prettypennies, that is a good offer, I wonder if the Doves is on offer everywhere again, saying that I do have a lot of flour at the mo and unsure if I should buy any more
soappie and Pollybear I wish I had your energy, all that done so early, makes me feel tired just reading it!
rach, I have one but don't use it as much as I thought I would. Mines a Kenwood, not a chef however.
You can see the floor in both boys rooms!!!! It's took several hours, my beds covered with the contents of DS2s room as his rooms tiny we needed the space to sort out. I'm having a cuppa/biscuit break now, so are the boys (they think they're little full time workers I think having a tea break) then back up to vacuum. Once that's done refill DS2s toy racks and cupboard with the boxes. For now we've (DP helped so best acknowledge that) just put everything into a box and flung obvious rubbish (2 bin bags full inc one of cardboard for recycling) and will tackle the sort through later when we'll be parting with stuff they no longer need. I then need to put DS1s clothes back in his drawers and wardrobes that he's made a pile of to sit on, sod!
Washers on, sorting has created more loads with what's been found, one is on the line but it's threatning to rain so sky watching at the mo. I need to find my Tesco gift card which I have misplaced before it gets binned by accident in the flinging, I should really sort through the 'voucher' section of my bag, there is gift cards/vouchers in there for all kinds.
Dog decided to lay with his head under DS1s bum and he's just farted, dog jumped up with a disgusted look on his face and child running round giggling :rotfl:
Right ok, sorry too much info, going to catch up on another few online things then get back to finishing the boys rooms. One day I might be more organised...........

So unmotivated today and reading about the poor baby has made me feel really sad, I too then felt bad for going mad at DS3 for spilling milk all over the sofa.
OH gone now with the younger two. I'm popping to the JL sale and sainsbury just for some food for the weekend. Tomorrow I will meal plan, I really will for next week. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
lil-me -I think you must mean someone else, I haven't done much at all today! Maybe it was Poohbear?0

Thanks Lil_me for the congrats.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hi everyone.
Felt a bit better after a goodnights sleep. Back at work tonight though.
Just the dailies and shopping done today. I bought a Remoska cooker the other day so will experiment making my evening meal in it.
Went to see mum and she is not quite herself. Could not understand what she was meaning her speech quite confusing. She does seem a bit chesty so mentioned this to staff.
bonsi Hope you slept well.
Soppie Enjoy your day.
Hugs to everyone.0 -
Well folk - I think it's started. Hubby is currently upstairs putting together ikea wardrobe and chest. I have started the pile of laundry but feel more confident now it will get done because of new furniture. Cleared out half of the bedroom so that's a start.
Prettypennies, must look out for the doves myself. And further to food processors and flour, do many of you make your own bread? I owuld love to - is a bread maker a good investment? Does it work out cheaper?
Tiamai-d, thank you so much for that comment, you're right. It look ages to get like this (months rather than weeks:o) so I need to not get disheartened. My biggest prob is clutter and a monumentlaly bad hoarding habit. I need to know how to upload photos to ebay then maybe I'll enjoy selling it all! Trouble is windows vista seems complicated to get the camera installed. My mum tried, who's quite savvy and she couldn't install it on mine even though she could on hers.
Witchypoo, love that name, I'm in Devon too!!! (the messy house down the road....)
Good weekend all. My thoughts are still with dear Jill (sob)Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

I just spent over 3 hours in DS2's room getting rid of 5 years of accumulated carp, now the landing looks like a tip but at least it's all slowly moving out of my house. Now we just to actually pull ourselves together and do a carboot or two to shift some stuff, at least the bigger bits and then I might have a look at that e-bay malarkie you all are doing.
I'm off to make myself an amended list for the rest of the weekend since we had to cancel our day out tomorrow, might aswell make use of the time.
Hope you are all having a nice weekend.:hello:0 -
Sinderella
I have vista and had no problem installing my camera software, just popped the disc in and it was done in a few min. No reason why it shouldn't work.
Vista is supposed to be more user friendly.....:rotfl:
I don't like it though.

hi, I've had huge difficulties getting connected to the internet and then couldn't get my keyboard to work.Kids reckon its because i am really stingey and use recycled/recharged batteries but , it saves me loads of money!
I haven't yet been able to get all\my e bay items on line but I am working on it and might have to wait until next week when I have got all of the family out at work and a free desk to myself.
I am busy changing the old playroom into an office/exercise room and it will be mainly for me but, a huge BUT, I have to get rid of loads and loads of accumulted stuff first. If you don't hear from me I will be with you in spirit as i continue with my mathoth task!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
