Evening all, I’ve been AWOL again !

Have read the whole thread from page 3 today as I wanted to catch up

To all you new flyers and returners, a big hello

Vanilla – hope your hubby is improved and that FIL gets his sorted out swiftly

Zenjen – just noticed your weight loss, that’s fantastic

Lubylou /Johanne – Its amazing what the littleones can get up to when you’re not looking. Luckily we’ve only had 1 glued eyebrow, a broken nose, sprained wrist and pencil up the nose between both of mine

Cookie – I ALWAYS have baskets of clean washing lying around waiting to be ironed

Jill – The thanks button, I find if I remember to thank I forget to read, and if I remember to read I forget to thank but I do thank all of you just for being here

Tia – well done to DS2. I’ve had loads of trouble with AOL recently dropping off connections when you’ve done a big post and I keep picking up a Trojan even with McAfee updated. I also had the organised mum calendar but this year I just put everything on outlook and print out the pages

Soappie – well done on the settee, fab job

Mudbath – sounds like you did well on exam

Firefly – we all lose the willpower sometimes, I’m always awol, at least you manage to get on here and post

Bonsi – great news about the house in Elgin, even if only temporary. I hope the pay gets sorted soon

Lilme – you’re doing an amazing job with your studying and looking after the boys, I don’t know how you keep on top of it all. Well done with sports day, my DD had hers on Wed and she came last in all her races but she was so good about it, some of the kids howled when they came in last but she was ace

Shell – glad you made the decision, at least you know where you’re at now

Davgirl – hope your water gets sorted soon

Pollybear – massive hugs for your poor doogie

Michelle – I have a fab pic of my DS when he was about 18 months with his hair stood on end after we had tried to wash the sudocrem out of it

Pigpen – glad you enjoyed the concert and thanks again for the lists even tho I have only followed half heartedly of late the house is still looking better than a year ago

Scared – I know what you mean about the work/home thing. I’d love to be able to give up work or even drop a couple of days but cant. My OH is a lot older and only 5 years from retiring so I have to work to afford the mortgage when he packs up work. Really envy all you stay at home mums.

Vivw – hope you feel better soon

So what have I been up to all week apart from working

OH came home on Monday from his travels looking unshaven and grubby but happy.
He cooked tea on Tues and Wed to give me more time to chill out when I came in from work, and encouraged me to go to bed earlier rather than worrying about the cleaning.
Wed morning was DD’s sports day and we went together rather than just one of us so DD was pleased even tho she didn’t win any races.
Have been to hairdresser this morning and had mega highlights put in so its a total shock looking in the mirror until I get used to it, also not looking forward to the comments at work as it’s a real change, think it’s a bit OTT. Cost way too much as had it cut 10 days ago as well and DD had hers done on Thurs.
Budget completely blown this month on groceries, kid and pretty much everything else
Have only done a small amount of flying has had got most of house clean before OH came home so minimal damage to correct tomorrow.

Think I’m gonna go to bed early again tonight, OH’s back at work and I can feel a migraine coming on, visions completely screwed so not doing myself any favours by staying on here so apologies if theres any spelling mistakes or jumbled words but brain gets all fuddled so hopefully sleep it off and play catch up tomorrow.

    TTFN
    Kaz

PS apologies to anyone I missed needing hugs
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Craftyscholar - Moggins has been back but with another similar user name, she seems pretty much sorted to be honest, did pop in a while back but not seen her for a while.
Evening didn't go quite to plan, I went up at 7.30pm and because of the light evenings lost track of time. I did however do loads of reading, which after I looked through the assignment have decided to read first then work on each section.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know about Moggins. Glad things worked out for her.
Really don't know how you find the time to study on top of the rest of your life. Is your DP still doing his course?

pretz that is good news, maybe they'll think before they light a fire in future!
Mudbath how lovely! That made me smile, because for a change someone appreciated children behaving well, doesn't happen often enough.
Kaz well done to your DD, personally I always hated sports day as I was never good either so I cringe just having to watch usually, but his school are great at making all children feel included. I think I might send my partner off on a motorbike around the world :rotfl: sounds like he's made a change in the right direction ;) Hope the migraine goes soon x
Craftscholar, yes he is, sort of, he annoyed me by getting more marks on a CMA that he guessed basically than I did and I worked hard (just didn't do very well) We haven't really discussed it but I am not expecting him to complete it, because there is an exam.

Well studying hasn't gone as well tonight, think I am too tired after spending the day doing the boys rooms and my brain will explode if I read one more thing on 'multivariate analysis' pah! It was nice when I had to repeatedly go into the boys rooms (because the refused to settle) not falling over something, having to step over stuff etc!

Right need to get DPs stuff and put it on the landing, save him waking us all tomorrow when he goes out.
One day I might be more organised...........
